Pokémon Legends: Arceus Best Ways To Level Up Fast [Top 5 Ways]

How best to prepare your team to go toe-to-toe with legends.

From time to time in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, players may find that they have to get creative to make sure their squad is up to snuff. Whether it’s leveling up a new favorite Pokémon or making sure you’re ready for the next boss, we’ll be listing five methods of gaining experience that are quick, effective, and keep your Pokémon in tip-top shape.

1. Battling the Miss Fortune Sisters

After your initial introduction to the Miss Fortune Sisters, they’ll be scattered individually throughout the five main points of interest you have access to. Not only do they give great experience, but they cough up tons of money too, if you manage to beat them. You can do this over and over again, as long as you don’t mind reloading the map every now and again, after each encounter.

How it works:

-locate a Miss Fortune Sister

-defeat them in battle

-gain experience + profit

-reload area to repeat the process

2. Farming experience from Chansey/Blissey

In all Pokémon games, Chansey and Blissey are infamous for giving a ton of experience points. You can find hordes of them on the overworld map or in their static locations in Alabaster Icelands and Coronet Highlands. You can even take down an Alpha or two while you’re in these areas, if you’re after bonus points.

How it works:

-travel to Coronet Highlands or Alabaster Icelands

-take down all the Chansey/Blissey in the area

-challenge any Alphas in the vicinity

3. Taking down Alpha Pokémon

Alpha Pokémon are a staple unique to the Legends: Arceus game, and you can use this to your advantage by taking them down–or catching them to add to your Pokédex. Either method will rack you up points, unlike the older mainline games where catching did not add to your Pokémons’ IVs or levels.

How it works:

-locate an Alpha Pokémon

-defeat and/or catch them

4. Using Grit Dust, Gravel, Pebbles, and Rocks

In the main series games, the player can use a collection of items (Iron, Protein, etc.) to raise your Pokémons’ effort values. In Legends: Arceus, these helpful tools are replaced with “Grit Stones,” to more accurately convey the ancient time period the game is meant to inhabit. These can be earned through defeating wild Pokémon or completing quests. While they won’t raise the level of your team, they will improve their abilities in attack, defense, and speed, which is nearly–if not more–important.

How it works:

-defeat wild Pokémon or complete quests to earn “Grit Stones”

-apply Grit Stones to the Pokémon you wish to become stronger

5. Talking to Zisu in Jubilife Village to challenge the various Legends: Arceus bosses

After the bulk of the story, you can return to the player’s main hub of Jubilife Village to talk to Zisu. She will be able to set you up in Pokémon battles against friends and foes you’ve faced before, which can earn you a ton of experience. Simply put a strong Pokémon at the front of your party and mow down your opponent’s team. Should you have weaker Pokémon waiting in the back, they will glean experience from the battle just as your starting Pokémon does, passing on those all-important points. This, of all methods, is perhaps the most effective.

How it works:

-locate Zisu in Jubilife Village

-have her set you up with previous bosses to grind on

-put a strong Pokémon at the head of your party

-accrue experience for your weaker Pokémon in the back
