10. Hesitation Stunner
Freeze your defender in place
Starting off the list with what is in my opinion the 2nd best dribble badge and move. The hesi is one of the easier dribble moves to do in-game and a hesi allows you to stun your opponent to get open for a shot or get inside driving lanes. A simple badge that makes a dribble move more effective it’s one dimensional but it works well in that one dimension

- Opens up jumpers with ease
- Simple to trigger compared to other dribble moves

9. Killer Crossover
The most iconic and dynamic dribble move
Get highlights and scores with the crossover like some of the greatest NBA players. Like Hardaway and Iverson, you can do a crossover that allows you to get defenders reacting and get your driving lane and/or jump shot.

8. Drop Stepper
Get defenders off you in the post with ease
There are a lot of badges for post-ups. A lot of them are important for a center or power forward build and a variety of them allow you to dominate but one badge, in particular, is the best and that's drop stepper. Drop steps are the easiest and most consistent post move your player can do and can almost always guarantee an open layup or dunk from the post. Again just like the dribble moves, it is pretty one-dimensional but that comes with the caveat of it being a lot more consistent in terms of scoring opportunities.

7. Tenacious Rebounder
Control the Rebound, control the game
The badge is as simple as it sounds. It makes rebound, both offensive and defensive, way easier. A big part of the game is rebounding so any boost to that skill makes it so easier to get other opportunities. Rebounds in themselves are not always equal to another shot or a defensive stop. If you are a skilled big man, however, you really can do some damage with this badge.

- Rebound your team's shots for scores of your own or an assist

Get you and your team running
Dimer is a badge that makes assists for open shots and layups go in a way easier. Paired with your offense it allows your teammates to make the shots a lot more when it's you doing the passing. Unless the opponent blocks their shot you know your pass is getting you an assist. The obvious weakness relies on you trusting your team and getting them open shots.

- Double teams on you are pretty much ineffective
- Get your open the easiest shots from the perimeter
- Unless they get blocked inside shots by teammates are pretty much-guaranteed buckets

5. Pick & Roll Maestro
The simplest play that gets you and your team easy shots
The Pick and Roll are one of the simplest and easiest plays in basketball. It can always guarantee a scoring opportunity whether it's an open driving lane or jumper for yourself, setting up the roll man with a jumper or inside shot, or even using the action to kick out to a perimeter player for a jump shot. A badge that makes the passing from the pick and rolls more accurate, and gets you a higher percentage shot is a welcome one in any player’s arsenal.

- If the roll man gets defended then you get a high percentage for yourself whether it's a jump shot or a drive inside.

4. Limitless Range
Curry Range makes you a threat as soon as you pass half court
A three-pointer is already a dangerous shot as it is. A 3-pointer is already such a danger but limitless range means shots from even a distance from 3 go in with consistency. An argument for this being the best offensive skill is there but it is all about how you use it

- Shots from even way beyond 3 have a consistent chance of going in
- The threat of a 3-point opens the defense up well making drives and passes way more open

3. Pickpocket
No dribbler is safe with this badge
Pickpocket just makes any dribble move a risky endeavor. All Steal badges are good badges for getting defensive stops and fastbreaks but in my opinion, nothing beats pickpocket in consistency. Pickpocket makes double team steals easier, on-ball reaches are less risky, and overall makes defense way more fun.

- On Ball, steals are super fun and easy to get with this badge
- The steals you get almost always trigger an easy layup or dunk for you or a highlight alley or pass to a teammate

2. Deadeye
Might as well leave yourself open
Deadeye is, in my opinion, a literal unstoppable offensive badge. Any shot that isn't immediately defended is an open shot. Whether it's midrange fades or pull-up 3s all manner of jumpers get boosted by this badge making it my pick for the best offensive badge in the game.
Why Deadeye Is Great :
- Late Defenders do not affect your jump shot
- Contested shots go in at a lot higher clip
- Badge works for any kind of jump shot

- Unbothered by any late defense and late contest on jump shots.
1. Lockdown Defender (Perimeter and Lockdown)
The quintessential defensive badge
Technically they are two different badges but the main difference is just on what position you play and they essentially have the same effect. Lockdown defender neutralizes the opposing player’s badges and wrecks their offensive capabilities, this makes clamping down on a one-on-one matchup super easy. Lockdown defense is simply just a cheat code and anyone who wants to dominate should have this badge.
Why Lockdown Defense Is Great :
- Lets you dominate your defensive matchup
- Essentially neutralizes your opponent's offense.
