No More Room In Hell is a co-op game that is surprisingly a lot different than other zombie shooter games that you can play. It’s a very VERY slow-paced game. It makes you focus on planning and carefully executing your plan, rather than shooting every zombie that comes into frame.

I recommend this game because even if it’s slow, it’s very fun. You and your friends will be figuring out different strategies for different maps, and you will constantly be improving your gameplay because the main part of the game is strategizing and communication. It’s a very refreshing take on the zombie shooter subgenre that tries to make you feel like you’re in a real zombie outbreak.

4. Vampire The Masquerade - Bloodhunt

Vampire The Masquerade - Bloodhunt is a battle royale where different vampire factions are locked in gang wars on the streets of Prague. The factions are very different from one another, which makes it pretty easy to find which one looks and works best for you.

The game has a lot of mobility. And while of course, it has a lot of gunplay, the mobility is my favorite thing about the game. Whether you need to escape from an enemy or you need to hunt down your prey, you will always be traversing the map as fast as you can. The game’s aesthetic is amazing and beautiful.

3. Cry Of Fear

Cry Of Fear is a game that started out as a Half-Life mod. It can be played both as a single-player game and co-op with friends. The campaign lasts 8 hours, which is a lot more than what I would expect from a free game. The game is pretty high quality and the story is interesting and well-developed.

What’s neat about Cry Of Fear is that there are many interesting and detailed guns. There are fun enemies and the game seems like Silent Hill was one of its inspirations. The game is certainly the best single-player horror experience that you can play for free, and it’s even more fun with friends.

Video Horror Society or VHS is a recently released asymmetrical horror game where teens face off with the monsters straight from the 1980s VHS tapes. The game is very colorful and unique in design, completely immersing you in the 80s neon and radical vibe.

The gameplay features 4v1 matches with a team of teens facing off against one of the horrific monsters. The gameplay is pretty much what you would expect from an asymmetrical horror game, with a few minor tweaks. The complete aesthetic of the game is its biggest strength.
