[Top 15] Young Strikers you NEED to Buy on EAFC24 Career Mode

Youssoufa Moukoko - 87 Potential - Borussia Dortmund
Youssoufa Moukoko - 87 Potential (He's not no.1, keep reading to find out)

Roy Keane once said: “Getting the ball in the back of the net is the hardest part of the game, that’s why strikers get paid the big bucks” and the United legend is absolutely right. Goals win games, and that’s why I’ll be taking you through the best teenage strikers in FC Career Mode with crazy potential, to grab the goals and carry you all the way to the top.

15. Romeo Vermant - 82 Potential

https://youtu.be/jtpWcpNUVPg?si=d87bxDey6rbWGo6b

Vermant is Club Brugge’s young prodigy who starts the game at 19 years old, being 65 rated. The Belgian has a base potential of 82, High/Medium work rates, and great starting stats such as 78 pace, 73 balance, and 75 jumping, all at 65 rating. Combine his starting jumping with his height at 6'0, with a couple of years of player growth and dynamic potential, you can be sure he’ll be scoring goals for fun, whether it’s with his feet or with his head. Make sure to use the “Complete Striker” to improve his weak foot, composure, and stamina, and enjoy your beast of a man up top for less than £2 million, a real bargain option

14. Karim Konate - 83 Potential

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zLi-uhvsR4I

Konate is the latest out of RB Salzburg’s rich conveyor belt of young strikers. The 19-year-old starts off at a rating of 69, and he’s absolutely rapid. We all know pace is such an important aspect to almost all FC players, and the Ivorian youngster will start you off at 83, so you have your speed machine at the start, scoring those important counterattack goals in the lower leagues. Again, the “Complete Striker” development plan is a must, as it will increase the all important weak foot, giving him that edge in front of goal.

13. Allen Obando - 84 Potential

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-gIgs4S9C_k

From Europe to Africa, now let’s explore the young talent across the Atlantic. Well, Atlantic may not be 100% right, as our next player comes from the country bordering the Pacific coast, Ecuador. Obando is a different type of striker, but effective nonetheless. 6’2 at 17 years old, alongside 73 composure and a whopping 89 jumping at his starting 65 rating, every single cross will land on his head from the Championship relegation battle all the way to the Champions League Final. With his big frame, make sure to develop him as a “Mobile Striker” to give him that pace and dribbling, so he doesn’t feel sluggish on the ball, plus give him better passing and 4*skill moves as a bonus. Being in the Ecuadorian League, he comes in under 2 million, another bargain buy for those of you who love crosses.

12. Adrian Mazilu - 84 Potential

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jGewkWASmwc

Next up is Farul Constanta’s talent Adrian Mazilu. The Romanian talent is a hidden gem up top, as his preferred position is RW. However, he has the stats and build of a top FC24 striker. 81 pace, 77 agility, 6’1, and High/Low work rates at the start at 67 overall, perfect for those looking for a rapid striker at a measly £2.1 million, who will become brilliant after the position change and weak foot upgrade. One downside, is that for those who are looking for realism, he has completed a transfer to Brighton in real life. However, if you don’t mind, he’s up for grabs for a bargain price.

11. Wilfried Gnonto - 84 Potential

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DchvOzx9hLU

A familiar name to many, Gnonto is one of Italy’s top prodigies. Although he is known for his speed and trickery in real life, he certainly has the qualities of a top young forward in FC24. He starts the game at 74 rated, and would most likely cost you quite a sum, but if you can afford him in your save, he’s a top target. 86 pace, 80 dribbling, 74 shot power, and 4* skill moves, he’s a hidden gem for those looking for that silky striker. Again, don’t forget to train his weak foot in development plans, as it’s crucial for his new position.

10. Victor Barbera - 84 Potential

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E-HqkA7OD-s

Our second entry from Brugge is La Masia graduate Victor Barbera. The Spaniard has brilliant starting pace stats, with 79 acceleration and 84 sprint speed, alongside 80 agility will make him smooth as silk from the start at 67 overall. But the thing that puts him above all the rest is his 4*/4*. Combined with his age of 18 and lean body type, he has everything you need for the perfect meta career mode striker for a cheap price. One downside is he won’t be available in the first window as he has just joined the Belgian giants, but he is certainly worth the wait for a game-changing winter signing.

9. Alejo Veliz - 85 Potential

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IbOjx3p0TJs

Next up is Tottenham’s new signing Alejo Veliz. The Argentine is one of the more expensive players on this list, starting the game off at 75 overall and a price point of over £10 million, but he certainly is an exciting prospect. 79 base finishing, with 76 shot power, alongside his 81 aggression, 83 heading and 85 jumping at 6’1, he can come in and make an instant* impact. The reason “instant” is in asterisks is that you will have to wait to sign him in January. However, a lethal finisher who can outleap any defender from the get-go will surely enhance your frontline, even if it’s on a cheeky loan deal.

8. Eliesse Ben Seghir - 85 Potential

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HkxZ8p3uuWU

Into the single digits, we’ve got Monaco’s EBS. A team known for producing top strikers, Ben Seghir is France’s hot young prospect. He is 72-rated at the start of the game with 73 base shooting stats, 81 agility, and 73 composure at 18 years old. Development plans are needed for his weak foot, but in a few years you’ll have a beast on your hands.

7. Juan Gauto - 85 Potential

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uhb50xKZAM8

Our first Argentine entry and Huracan’s latest gem. Gauto just recently signed for FC Basel in Switzerland, but the 6-month delay is worth the wait. He starts off as a winger but has all the attributes to be your “little man” up front. 87 pace, 84 agility, 73 shot power at 71 overall, and a whopping 5* skill move that makes him stand out from the rest. He’s the perfect option for those who like their striker's pacy and skillful, just make sure to train his weak foot up after converting him to a striker.

6. Nelson Weiper - 86 Potential

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-iOwZJi1mhU

From the “little man" to the “big man”, Weiper is the guy if you need someone who can win headers, hold up play and fend off defenders. With his 6’3 stature, 75 jumping and 74 strength, alongside his 71 finishing, all that at his 66 base overall, just imagine him with +20 growth. Certainly not someone that fits everyone’s playstyle, but if he’s your kind of striker, his price point at only £2 million is an absolute steal. Training his weak foot is crucial here, as his turns will be considerably slow, so make sure he has a rocket on both feet.

5. George Ilenikhena - 86 Potential

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-rODpCTb0Uo

Just inside the top five is 2006-born George Ilenikhena. He starts the game at only 16 years old and has a long, illustrious career ahead of him. At 66 starting overall, he’s the full package when it comes to a striker. 81 pace, 71 finishing, 70 shot power, 76 agility and 78 jumping at 6’0. He has a long time to improve, and with dynamic potential, he can become one of the best strikers in the world. Again, “Complete Striker” is a necessary development plan, as it tackles his 2 main weaknesses, weak foot and composure.

4. Evan Ferguson - 86 Potential

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0QNoBGlnXvk

First in the top four is a household name among Premier League fans. The Irishman is one of the top talents in Europe’s most reputable division and has largely impressed for the gulls in real life. In my opinion, he’s severely underrated by EA at 74 overall, but that’s a positive for career mode players, as, although expensive, he comes in at an affordable price for those playing with higher-tier clubs. He begins the game with an incredible 79 finishing, 75 strength and 80 jumping at 6’0 and only 18 years old, we can only wonder what a beast he would be at his full potential. 3* weak foot needs upgrading as per usual, lucky we have a development plan to fix that. Another positive note for visual gamers is that he has an in-game face scan, so he won’t just look like a generic player.

3. Paris Brunner - 87 Potential

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fKVokLX1Rds

For bronze, we have Dortmund’s up-and-coming talent Paris Brunner. The German has a base potential of 87, and the sky's the limit for him. His base stats might not look the best, but he only starts off the game at 65-rated, so he will be cheap and easy to snap up for one of the top teenage strikers in world football. Not to mention his base finishing is 72, no chance for the lower-league goalkeepers. One gargantuan positive is he starts with 4* weak foot without any training, so you have full control over his first development plan to fit your playstyle. One thing that can be upgraded is his medium attacking work rate. In spite of that, if you’re a player who knows how to use the L1/LB trigger, this is a relatively minor issue. Anyway you upgrade him, you’ll have a top top striker on your hands for a very long time.

2. Youssoufa Moukoko - 87 Potential

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YH7trzgmo0Y

At number 2 is probably one of the most familiar names among career mode players, Moukoko has turned 18 and starts the game at a saucy 77 overall. His base stats are also brilliant, with 80 pace, 79 finishing, 80 dribbling with 85 agility, and 4*4*, he is your man if you have the money to afford him. He also has a unique body type, which elevates his op-ness even further with his animations. 87 base potential + dynamic growth, Moukoko’s stellar reputation speaks for itself, and you know if you sign him, you’ve got a beast on your hands.

1. Mathys Tel - 88 Potential

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qLowpAEo3gA

Finally, at the top of the pile we have Bayern wonderkid Mathys Tel. The Frenchman is not only the best wonderkid striker, he’s also the teenager with the 4th highest potential in the entire game. He has phenomenal stats for his starting overall of 73, with 77 pace, 76 shooting and 73 dribbling. Combined with his 4*4* and 82 shot power, you have the striker who can do it all with a rocket in his boost, all at just 18 years old. It’s very hard to nitpick any of his weaknesses other than stamina, which will keep increasing over time. So, if you decide to buy him, all I can say is, reap your rewards, you have the best young striker in FC24.
