Being the 3rd most populated country on the planet, as well as being the biggest English-speaking country in the world, there certainly is a huge American audience in EAFC 24. With the addition of play styles, evolution, and especially the NWSL, has made players from the states much more viable in this year’s game. So, here are the top 10 American players in FC24, for those patriotic to the Stars and Stripes.

This article will exclusively rank every player’s best card with no duplicates, with the lower-rated versions may or may not mentioned. This article will also disregard evolution path players.

10. Lynn Williams - 86 Team of the Week

At number 10 is winger/striker Lynn Williams. Her stats look surprisingly brilliant for an 86-rated card, 93 pace, 98 finishing, 91 shot power, and 89 stamina on finisher. Although the stats look incredibly promising, she does lack in terms of her 3* weak foot and a lack of playstyle+. Rapid and quick step are nice, and she’ll feel fun to play with. However, she might not be your player if you’re looking for the meta.

9. Mallory Swanson - 86 Gold

The list’s only base gold card, Swanson is a pacey winger whose card looks pretty neat. 97 pace, 87 shooting, and 84 dribbling on hawk. Her stats might not look as good as Williams’, but she has a not-so-secret weapon in her 5* weak foot, as well as her amazing list of playstyles, namely finesse shot, technical, first touch, and quick step. Not quite a playstyle+, but they’ll certainly help.

8. Megan Rapinoe - 88 Premium SBC

The former Ballon d’Or Feminine winner comes in at 8th with her SBC card. She’s a very versatile attacker who can play on the wings and in midfield. As a result, she doesn’t have a specific “best” chem style, as it’s up to her position and play style. We recommend hunter for LW, engine for CAM, and shadow for CM. She has very nice all round base stats, 90 stamina, 4* skills and 5* weak foot. She also has the first touch playstyle, and the overpowered finesse shot+. We do suggest her as a CAM, although she’s viable in many positions.

7. Antonee Robinson - 86 Team of the Week

Our first male player comes in 7th, and it’s the Fulham fullback Antonee Robinson. He’s a very unique card in his own right, but that turned out to be a big positive. At 6’0 with 87 jumping, he’ll be clearing lots of back post headers, but at the same time, he also has an impressive 85 dribbling and the controlled-explosive AcceleRATE. He’ll have 98 pace on shadow, with okay defending and nice physical stats, and he’ll give you a big presence at the back, whilst being a threat going forward.

6. Sergino Dest - 86 UCL Road to the Knockouts

Up in 6th is former Barca man, Sergino Dest. Another fullback on the list, but a very different kind to Robinson. Dest is only 5’8 and has 77 strength even with anchor, so if you want a physical presence beside your centre-backs, he might not be the man for you. However, he’ll highly compensate for that with his incredible technique and attacking prowess. 4*4*, 91 short passing and 92 dribbling are absolutely ludicrous for an 86-rated fullback, and he’ll be able to break defences from the sidelines. His playstyles are quite poor, which is why he stays at just 6th on this list.

5. Christian Pulisic - 87 Serie A Player of the Month

USA’s finest and American-proclaimed “LeBron James of soccer”, Pulisic has been ripping it up in Milan and now has a +8 upgraded POTM card. On hawk, his pace becomes 96, to go with his 89 finishing, 97 shot power, and 91 dribbling. His stats are good, but they don’t really reflect his SBC price. What does though, is his list of playstyles. Rapid, first touch, pinged pass, and quick step+ all meta playstyles that you want on your wingers, alongside his 4*4* and mostly explosive AcceleRATE type, he’ll be constantly bursting past defenders like a bullet.

4. Trinity Rodman - 86 Team of the Week

6/7 of the list so far have been wide players, but Rodman is the pick of the bunch. Saying that, she can also play as a striker, and a pretty good one at that. Many chemistry styles work on this card, depending on your playstyle and her position in your team. My personal recommendation is hawk, to increase her pace to 99, with 90 finishing, 93 shot power, and 87 strength to go with her 4*4*. The main selling point about this card though, is the excess amount of playstyles on her in-form card. With rapid, trickster, trivela, and the amazing quick step+, makes her stand out above the rest as the best American winger in the game.

3. Sophia Smith - 89 Trailblazers

First in our top 3 is Portland striker, Smith, and she’s the perfect “small striker”, as we get into the territory of meta players that would make actual Weekend League teams. Her stats on finisher are phenomenal, with 94 pace, 99 finishing, 89 shot power, 94 dribbling and 94 stamina. She has 4*5*, technical, first touch, quick step, and more, making her a superb option up front. Relentless+ is nice, but not as ideal as other big boosts. However, overall, her card is incredible, and is certainly viable, even in the most serious of gamemodes.

2. Alex Morgan - 90 Winter Wildcards

One of the original pioneers of women’s football, prime Alex Morgan has been reincarnated in FC24’s holidays promo. 4*5* as expected to go along with her 92 pace, 99 finishing, 95 shot power, 90 dribbling, and 89 stamina. The thing that edges her above Smith though, is her playstyles. First touch, rapid, and trivela make her a top striker, but the one that elevates her up a level is her finesse shot playstyle+, making her extremely overpowered and a lot of fun to use.

1. Mia Hamm - 93 Icon

The indisputable best American item, and one of the best cards in the game, Hamm is the definition of meta. On hunter, her pace, finishing and shot power are maxed out at 99 with 92 dribbling. Alongside playstyles like rapid, quick step, first touch, finesse shot and power shot+, just looking at the stats will surely make everyone’s mouth water. She also has 5*5*, meaning her card is completely spotless and by far the best Stars and Stripes card in FC24.
