About - Mia Pokorny: Mia is a fully functional reading addict with a brain developed fully at the age of 24. She writes enough to feed her hunger for cravings of imagination and adventure and sci-fi mixed with a fantasy twang. Level expert in horror/paranormal and anything anime. Mia loves to get lost in the misty reverie world of anime and bright colors of gaming- beginning at the age of six. Since then she would rent horror movies and anime movies at Blockbuster. Collecting poster visuals over the years and drawing her favorite characters by heart. Some nights she would stare up at the posters wishing she could summon a portal with her mind and cross into their animated world. Mia has spent hours on the computer reading stories of horror and the paranormal on websites and YouTube. The haunting told stories were frightening, but what excited her the most were the UNtold stories and atrocities that haven't been written about. Paired with insensitivity and fascination for the paranormal- yes, that includes aliens, fairies and tales of Atlantis. What she loves most about writing is to be weird, honest and relatable in only ways people who have seen or have interest in certain genres would understand.
