7. Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3

Build up your meter and unleash some attacks that are true to the characters you're playing as in every way. Call in an assist when you need it, or bring your 3-person team together for the ultimate combo. As if that wasn't enough, the Ultimate version fixed a lot of the original games problems, and brought in the new Heroes and Heralds Mode, which lets you pick a side in the battle for Earth, and deck your team out with cards that have lots of special powers.

Continuing with our praise of NetherRealm, we find ourselves talking about their other fighting game, Injustice 2. Here, you'll play as heroes and villains within the DC Comics universe and try to save the world, or destroy it.

The insanely detailed gameplay from the original is back, but this time, it's been refined even more. Characters feel even more in tune with their comic counterparts, and with the inclusion of armor, you can make them look however you want to, and power them up even more as you do.

If that's not enough for you, then you should just see the roster! NetherRealm went deep into DC lore to bring new and exciting characters into the mix. We're talking characters like Supergirl, Blue Beetle, Poison Ivy, Bane, Cheetah, Gorilla Grodd, and more. Plus, with DLC characters like Raiden, Hellboy, and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, there's plenty of fun characters to be.

And that's still only scratching the surface on what Injustce 2 offers. This game won "Fighting Game of the Year" multiple times during award season last year, and it was for good reason.

3. Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition
