The big ten is Killing Floor 2, where you can follow a zombie apocalypse storyline.
       Killing Floor 2 is a first-person shooter game that can be played all alone or with a team. The game is a sequel to the first 2009 Killing Floor, where a biotech company, Horzine, attempted to build military drones then hijacked by a crazy researcher who released the drones in the UK. Each server can hold up to 6 players as they battle through the waves of creatures like fighting through a zombie apocalypse or zombie wave. If you like zombie apocalypse games, then you should try Killing Floor 2.

9. Deceit

Calling in at 9th place is Deceit, where both the elements of mystery and suspense are included.
         Deceit is a first-person shooter that tests your instincts, trust-issues, and deception. You wake up in a mysterious location that you have no idea of, but to only hear the voice of “the Game Master”. You look around and see 5 others beside you. When you start the game, you have nothing in your infected meter (getting infected is a way to get on the infected side where you need to drink as much blood as possible). When you are infected, you need to infect others as well before they escape and without them knowing your human side. Are you ready to test out this mysterious and exciting game?

8. Left 4 Dead 2

Calling in at number 8 is Left 4 Dead 2, where teamwork gets you through a zombie apocalypse.
       Left 4 Dead 2 is a sequel to the 2008 multiplayer survival horror game, Left 4 Dead. Left 4 Dead 2 is about 4 survivors fighting against waves of extremely aggressive zombies. The 4 players must fight their way through 5 rounds, then must interact with “Safe Houses'', also known as checkpoints. As the game progresses, it gets harder, then eventually leading to escape. Go on and use skill and teamwork to get through it all.

         Resident Evil 7: Biohazard is a survival horror game that follows an amazing storyline. The player controls the main character, Ethan Winters as he searches for his missing wife in a disgraceful location full of infected creatures. You must complete puzzles, fight enemies, and live through it all. Although this Resident Evil game focuses on horror over action, there are many other features. Do whatever it takes to help Ethan along his journey of searching for his lost wife.

       Prey is a first-person shooter game with both the elements of role-playing and stealth. In this game, the player controls Morgan Yu, a woman who boards a plane alongside aliens. The player must find weapons, resources, and more to survive. Along the way, you must also make extraordinary decisions, which can change the whole story. Are you ready to do whatever it takes to survive?

Moving onto the top 5, we have Alien: Isolation if you love both adventure and action.
         Alien: Isolation is a first-person adventure and action game that is played alone and includes the elements of stealth, horror, and survival. The player controls a girl named Amanda Ripley, who is exploring a space station. You must complete tasks while avoiding and killing enemies, then finally moving on to a new map. Are you ready to help Amanda while having fun and being fascinated with the storyline?

Here we run into Outlast 2, where an interesting storyline leads to new characters and adventures.
       Outlast 2 is a sequence of the 2013 Outlast, where the player controls Blake Langermann and his wife, Lynn. Blake and Lynn survived a helicopter crash then went to investigate the murder of pregnant Jane Doe, while separated. Blake(the player) cannot fight but must run and hide from creatures with limited stamina. While the player follows the storyline, Blake will find new characters and storylines. Let’s help Blake and Lynn while being curious about the storyline!

  With System Shock just making the podium, this game takes you back to the future and lets you complete interesting tasks.
        System Shock is a first-person shooter game set in the year 2072 where a nameless hacker who was caught stealing files then was sent to Edward Diego. Edward then gives the hacker a deal. If the hacker hacks into an AI(artificial intelligence), Edward would drop all charges. Controlling the nameless hacker, the player must complete tasks while avoiding obstacles. Let’s hack the system for the sake of Edward and mister hacker.

2. Hunt: Showdown

Hunt: Showdown Gameplay

The lucky number 2 is Hunt: Showdown. This game allows you to play in various game modes, each unique and fun.
        Hunt: Showdown is a first-person multiplayer shooter game that contains 2 game modes, Bounty Hunt and Quick Play. Quick Play is just a simple battle-royale game, while the player plays as a bounty hunter who hunts down creatures for a bounty in Bounty Hunt; as the player gains more clues, the location of the creature is soon discovered then hunted down with various weapons. Additionally, although Quick Play just sounds like a normal battle royale game, it has a lot more to it. For example, the battle royale mode lasts for 15 minutes; and within those 15 minutes, the player must activate 4 energy wellsprings on the map and defend themselves when it comes to aggressive attacks. If you’re picky when it comes to games, then let’s get started! After all, tomorrow is probably just another day.

 Coming in in first place is GTFO, where you and 3 other teammates must fight through disasters and survive.
       GTFO is a multiplayer first-person shooter game that contains both the elements of survival and horror. A group of 4 inmates is forced to go underground to search for objects and complete tasks known as the Warden due to an asteroid. While battling monsters, the players must scavenge weapons, items, and their own teammates to survive. Do whatever it takes to survive, and don’t forget about your teammates!
