Kirsten Magas is a seasoned writer who graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of the Arts in English at West Chester University. You can find her published work in publications local to her hometown of Philadelphia, PA, such as Philadelphia Style and PhillyVoice, as well as the West Chester University publication, The Quad. To Kirsten, the only thing more exciting than picking up a controller to play through a narrative game for the first time is writing and analyzing the experience in a review. Recent plays include "Firewatch" and "Afterparty." Picking up "Ratchet & Clank" for the first time in 2005 was the start of a blossoming love for video games. When Kirsten is not trying a new game or writing for Gamers Decide, she can be found scribbling lines for her first poetry book in-the-works, "Buffering," which explores the feeling of anxiety through technology and, of course, video games.
