For the entirety of my life I've been a dedicated gamer and writer. It all started at a very young age with the first Kingdom Hearts; and even though I had no clue what the story was about (as many of you might expect when discussing Kingdom Hearts) I immediately fell in love with gaming as an entertainment medium. I've explored the magical land of Tamriel, faced infamous villains like the Joker as the Dark Knight, and confronted an onslaught of deadly aliens as Master Chief. Growing up in the boring state of Connecticut, there wasn't much to do, so over the years I focused on collaborating with hundreds of creative writers (both amateur and experienced) in order to perfect my craft. I've written dozens of short stories, film scripts, and other pieces which have all benefited my passion for writing and strengthened my talents. When it comes to gaming, nothing beats a story-driven and tightly crafted experience with thoughtful and well-written characters, as well as engaging gameplay; the most notable example of this for me personally would have to be Naughty Dog's 2013 masterpiece, the Last of Us. Writing about the story, characters, and deeper themes and messages are where I shine brightest. I wish to convey my passion of gaming through my writing, and hopefully remind the reader why video games are so close to our hearts. They are not just virtual worlds for us to mess around in, but rather, a deep connection that we can all fall in love with.
