'The Wandering Village' City-Building Simulation Game Builds On the Back of A Giant Beast
Maybe fleas are onto something...

‘The Wandering Village,’ is a city-building simulation game.

In ‘The Wandering Village,’ you must build and manage a city on the back of a giant creature, a colossus. The Earth has been poisoned and made uninhabitable by mysterious plants that emit toxic spores, choking out all life on your home planet.

A small group of survivors has found a new home on the back of a giant nomadic creature called ‘Onbu.’ You need to lead this group of survivors and create a sustainable settlement on its back while ensuring that you develop a healthy symbiotic relationship with the creature.

It is important to build a functional village that will support your population easily. Build and expand your settlement. You need to build production chains for everything that you need, and then you can upgrade them to be more effective and efficient!

Living on the back of a living creature comes with great responsibility. You could choose to be a selfish parasite community, living only for your own gain. Alternatively, you can live in symbiosis, benefiting both yourself and your host. Think about which one would be the best long-term solution!

There are different biomes with unique living conditions, resources, and threats. You can also research new technologies from remnants of tech from the old world.

Do whatever it takes for you and ‘Onbu’ to survive, and in that way, you will ensure the continuation of the human race despite the new hostile conditions on Earth.

‘The Wandering Village,’ is developed by ‘Stray Fawn Studio,’ and is coming to Steam in September 2022.
