‘Traitors In Salem’ is a social deduction game where you and your pals must navigate the treacherous streets of Salem, murdering each other, investigating murders, and being the best liars on the block.

Traitors have never really been looked upon in a favorable manner throughout history. Heck, even the enemy would never trust a man who had betrayed his people. Once a traitor always a traitor, right?

The Salem witch hunts were a rather bloody affair, with large numbers of young and old women being burned at the stake for sorcery. The ‘Necronomicon,’ a book of dark sorcery was banished along with its surviving servants. 

As with most pestilences, the darkness is returning to Salem and the people of Salem are once more being possessed by powers of darkness. The possessed, also known as the Traitors, will murder innocents at any given opportunity and it is your job to try and survive and catch the traitors. Unless of course, you are one of them…

You will play online matches with up to 15 other players, and you will need to utilize your powers of deception, investigation, and wit to survive the dangerous times ahead of you! Traitors will be caught and trials will be held, where they will be sentenced to death by the group.

Of course, if the traitors kill all the innocents before they are discovered then the traitors prevail. Alternatively, if the innocents catch all the traitors then good prevails over evil, and Salem is saved!

Innocents will need to complete a range of different quests while trying to survive and trying to catch the traitors. Town meetings can be called when a dead body is found by ringing the Town Bell. Traitors can murder innocents, burn dead bodies, convert innocent town members, and of course, murder as many of them as they like.

Watch your step. There are no friends in Salem…
