'Soda Crisis' Fast-Paced Side-Scrolling Shooter Tests Even The Best Reflexes
Soda was bound to cause a war at some point...

Reflexes are key to survival. Without reflexes, we’d just stop functioning, we wouldn’t react to danger or harmful situations. We’d be vegetables. Very vulnerable vegetables. When it comes to sport, combat, or a lot of other stuff, good reflexes are essential.

‘Soda Crisis’ is no different. It is a side-scrolling shooter game with an incredibly fast pace requiring laser-like precision and lightning-fast reactions. You play as a mech character of sorts that has been built to be the ultimate fighting machine.

You fight to protect the earth in a futuristic scenario, battling it out against enemies of the earth. An army of invaders is trying to take over the earth with giant space battleships to try and steal all the cola on earth. You must fight them tooth and nail, or rather, guns and gears!

Effective movement is crucial to your success. You must jump, run, dodge bullets, grapple, and swing your way to victory as you finesse your enemies with superior movement, firepower, and aim!

You can customize your mech, picking specific weapons before each fight to make sure you’ll be as dangerous and deadly as possible! If you mess up and end up getting obliterated, you’ll be given another chance. The game will reset you to a checkpoint and you can get right back to blasting robots to bits!

‘Soda Crisis’ is developed by ‘Team Soda’ and released on Steam on the 24th of May, 2022, despite initial development hiccups and setbacks.
