Being a leader such as a powerful politician, the CEO of a large company, or even a small company, is not meant for everybody. Subjects are often critical of their leaders, without understanding the true burden of the leadership that their leaders must bear.

‘Settlement Survival’ places the burden of leadership of a group of survivors on the shoulders of the players, making it the players’ responsibility to ensure that resources are managed correctly and that everybody survives comfortably while contributing to the survival of the group.

Players must take their group of settlers and start a new settlement, assigning villagers to resource collection, farming, construction, and more.

As they grow their settlement they must manage the town’s resources, ensuring that all citizens are fed, clothed, protected from the elements and that the town is protected against natural disasters such as fires and floods.

With the expansion of their settlement players will need to appoint mayors to look after their towns and contribute to “morality,” helping to reduce crime and preventing excessive “baby booms.”

Players must make sure their towns have law enforcement to prevent crime and can build their cities to suit unique specialized functions such as industry, mining, entertainment, and more.

The game allows for the construction of wondrous monuments, terraforming, and a range of other features to make it more exciting for players and allow them to use their creative powers freely.
