‘Crimson Tactics: The Rise of the White Banner,’ is a tactical turn-based RPG set in a medieval fantasy world. The world is in political turmoil, an external threat is looming, and it is time for heroes to rise up and fight the good fight.

You find yourself embroiled in the conflict on the continent of Xenthania as the inhabitants of the Wendalle kingdom go at it hammer and tongs over conflicting political beliefs and interests. 

Like a hungry wolf preying on an injured lamb, a powerful rival empire is moving against Wendalle and it is up to you, the hero of the hour, to save your kingdom and your people. 

According to the game’s developers, the game was inspired by games such as ‘Final Fantasy Tactics,’ and ‘Tactics Ogre,’ but is still a unique and “worthy spiritual successor,’ to those games.

To beat the enemies of Wendalle you will need to be smart and vicious. You can pick from 25 different warrior classes that each have powerful and unique perks to help you conquer the enemies of the kingdom.

There are over 200 different character abilities for you to choose from to build the ultimate warrior that suits your playstyle and is fun to play.

Like a true RPG, there are hundreds of different weapons and weapon combos that you can use to obliterate anyone that dares to oppose you in your righteous fight. It’s nice being both right and unstoppable, am I right?

Any warrior needs a good mount. You get to take your pick. If you feel like burning down cities and leaving them in ashes, a dragon might be a good choice. Or if you prefer something a little more subtle, you can always still pick an ordinary horse!
