The power of choices and the impact of consequences play a primary role in how people choose to live their lives and what they choose to use their time for.

‘Project Witchstone’ is a tabletop RPG where the entire game revolves around choices and consequences. There is no ‘fixed narrative’ for players to follow. Players create a unique story for themselves with every choice they make or refuse to make.

The game’s unique reactive world causes every action to have consequences that can come back to haunt players later on. The game utilizes a variety of traditional tabletop RPG features, such as dialogue, combat, and spells. Additionally, it utilizes a tactical turn-based combat system that “rewards both strategy and creativity” according to ‘Project Witchstone’ developers.

Players can choose to take any path they want. They could, for instance, choose to become a vigilante fighting crime and taking out crime factions from the shadows, becoming a faceless hero to the people. Alternatively, they could choose to take the opposite path and join a faction, perhaps even becoming a faction leader and dominating the world of organized crime.

With every decision made, consequences will follow. Helping people in need will result in increased popularity. Committing a crime can result in a player’s arrest unless they successfully frame someone else for it. 

The game reacts uniquely to every move made by the player, allowing players to live the adventure of their dreams without having to deal with consequences in real life.
