Imagine a world without electricity. It would suck. No electrical lighting. No power tools. No electric stoves, ovens, machinery. Essentially, life, as is known on Earth, would be over.

Everything would have to be mechanically or manually powered using traditional energy sources such as steam and coal. Ouch!

In a world where the surface has become all but uninhabitable, ‘Lumencraft,' throws players into a world of darkness where the remnants of humanity struggle to survive. The discovery of the high-energy mineral, ‘Lumen’ brings some hope to humanity, however, none of the mining expeditions have made it back alive so far.

Players must descend to the Lumen base, fighting off the enemies that lurk in the darkness with a wide range of weaponry in this top-down shooter. Players must build up and fortify their base with defenses and a variety of different armed turrets to defend the base against invaders.

They must explore the world of darkness, drilling for Lumen as if their very existence depends on it because it does. The game includes a range of weapons and gear including mining drills, dynamite, and defense turrets.

‘Lumencraft’ features a fully-destructible environment and a unique, dark underground atmosphere created through creative sound engineering and the use of light and shadow. 

The goal is to collect as much Lumen as possible and build a solid base that is safe from the raiders that will constantly try to break in and steal the priceless Lumen stores that players have built up.

‘Lumencraft’ is developed by ‘2Dynamic Games,’ and is scheduled for release on Steam in April of 2022.
