Imagine being abducted and taken to a strange city that is bound by a dark and powerful curse. Imagine this city as being filled with a thick, unnatural fog that clouds everything with thick, choking evil.

‘Gloomwood’ is every child’s worst nightmare. It is dark, cold, gloomy, and filled with all sorts of unholy denizens that haunt the nightmares of both the innocent and the guilty. Players find themselves trapped in an old Victorian-era city, making things all the more terrifying with the unique period-specific architecture and constructions.

Church spires tower through the fog as black cats haunt the dark and dreary alleys… Around every corner awaits the spine-chilling possibility of death, or worse! The fog hides a dark and ancient mystery. Players must uncover this mystery, the mystery of the curse, and free themselves and the city from its deadly grasp.

Stealth is key as players make their way around the old city, exploring hidden passages, and tunnels, and leaping across the rooftops. Sound travels in fog, and even the tiniest bit of noise can give players away. 

Players are equipped with a deadly arsenal, including a cane sword, revolver, shotgun, and a plethora of different traps and gadgets that are each as deadly as the other. How players go about their business is up to them. They can choose to maintain a stealthy approach, or to go at it guns blazing!

‘Gloomwood’ is developed by ‘Dillan Rogers,’ and ‘David Szymanski.’ The game will be released on Steam “soon,” according to the developers.
