The battlegrounds of the Victorian era were vastly different from modern-day battlefields.

‘Fire and Maneuver’ is a historical strategy game created by history boffins for any and all that have an interest in Victorian-era military strategy and experiences.

All the characters and units in ‘Fire and Maneuver’ have been created based on extensive historical research to ensure accuracy and authenticity. 

The game utilizes a tactical turn-based combat system. However, both players’ turns occur simultaneously, meaning that players have to predict their enemy’s next move based on the condition of the battlefield in a similar manner to what the military commanders of the time would have done.

The game includes 7 historical factions, including:

• The Second French Empire
• The North German Confederation
• The British Empire
• The Russian Empire
• The Ottoman Empire
• The Austrian Empire
• The Kingdom of Italy

Each faction has unique strengths and weaknesses based on historical evidence. Some nations had very strong infantry detachments, while others were more focused on cavalry, navy, or whichever branch of the military they used most effectively. This means that each faction has unique perks that will suit different playstyles and player preferences.

‘Fire and Maneuver’ features a multiplayer mode for you to challenge your friends (and enemies) to battle. You can also play against random online players in multiplayer battles. 

As you progress through the game and get more victories under your belt, you will be able to set up and customize the regiments that you will command. This allows you to develop sound strategies with units that you are good at commanding and that perform effectively with your playstyle.
