Casinos are trying to get in on the goods

The popular two-day event, the East Coast Gaming Congress, started in Atlantic City this past Wednesday at Harrah’s Waterfront Conference Center. It included the new NexGen Gaming Forum, focused on online gaming, fantasy sports and esports and skill-based games.

The talks focused on how gaming can benefit casinos by hosting different esport events and the legalization of sports betting. They also addressed ways to attract Millenials to casinos with skill-based gaming machines. There wasn’t a whole lot of “gaming” talk, and it mostly focused on big business and gambling and how casinos and towns whose economy relies on the income from casinos can benefit from the popularity of certain games and types of gaming.
