The second key characteristic of ‘Dynasty Warriors 9’ is the political campaign that players must embark on to strengthen their country’s forces and the power of their nation. The world of politics is a tricky one to navigate and requires guile, clever speech, and charisma.

Players are able to customize their characters using the edit mode and have the option to play in a variety of different roles and positions, ranging from rulers of their country to unaffiliated officers in the military.
