‘Call of the Wild: The Angler’ is a fishing simulation game from the creators of ‘The Hunter: Call of the Wild.’

‘Call of the Wild: The Angler’ features a vast open world for you to explore, with absolutely stunning habitats and environments depicting incredible natural beauty. There are hundreds of different fishing spots for you to choose from. 

As you explore, you will learn which spots are the best for specific fish, and you will learn to become a master fisherman!

The game allows you to explore the open world using a variety of off-road vehicles, boats, and of course the old ten-toe express in spots where vehicles just won’t go! The world is full of rivers, streams, lakes, and ponds that are all home to unique fish and provide different fishing experiences.

The game features a variety of different fish species, including fish such as the Largemouth Bass and Mountain Whitefish. Each type of fish will be a unique experience due to differences in fighting style, size, and habitat. Additionally, factors such as weather, temperature, and altitude can also have a significant impact on your day-to-day fishing experience. 

There is a wide range of different rods, reels, fishing gear, and fishing techniques for you to experiment with and learn as you progress through the game. Over time you will become a master angler that can catch the most difficult of fish!

The game allows you to play solo or play multiplayer with your friends if you feel like going on a full-blown digital fishing expedition.

‘Call of the Wild: The Angler’ is developed by ‘Expansive Worlds,’ and is coming to Steam at the end of August 2022.
