‘Call to Arms - Gates of Hell: Talvisota’ is a DLC for the original ‘Call to Arms - Gates of Hell: Ostfront,’ RTS.

Hell is commonly accepted to be too hot to be healthy for you, but in this particular case, it is rather icy. The ‘Call to Arms - Gates of Hell’ series follows the events of WW2 on the Eastern Front, which, reportedly, was anything but hot!

This DLC brings Finland to the game as a playable nation and will allow you to dive into the untold stories of tragedy and war that took place among the Finnish ranks on the Eastern Front of World War 2.

According to the developers, the DLC contains “an encyclopedic amount of weapons, uniforms, vehicles, and locations” related to the Finnish role in WW2. So if anybody asks what you’re doing, you can tell them that you’re studying history!

Being an RTS, the game will require you to use every last one of your brain cells to outsmart the “menacing, revamped” AI in every battle you fight.

Placing machine gun nests in smart positions, clever use of searchlights, and strategic troop movement and placement, can all have a massive impact on the outcome of the battle, and ultimately, the war!

There are 3 different stages of the war represented in the game, including the winter war, “continuation war,” and “Lapland war.” All fortifications, locations, troops, and equipment are based on extensive historical research for the most authentic experience possible.
