In ‘Blacktail,’ you play as ‘Baba Yaga,’ and become a “witch of the woods” who can use the power for either good or evil. Or both…

Your story gets off to a very rough start when 16-year-old Baba Yaga is cast out of her village and left to fend for herself after being accused of practicing witchcraft. Bad memories from the past come back to haunt you as evil ghosts that need to be hunted down. 

Hunting down these evil spirits might help you to discover and understand the mysteries of your past, present, and future!

You are guided by a voice that seeks to help you gain your full power and understand your history. You also have the help of the ‘Black Cat’ to hunt down spirits that you need to destroy. The further you progress, and the more memories you relive from your past, the closer you will get to find out what happened to the friends you lost when you were cast out.

Mastering the art of combat with your bow and gauntlet is essential if you wish to make it through your adventure alive. Having a good understanding of all your different potions, and making lots of arrows, will also help you to remain prepared for attacks anywhere and at any time.

As you explore the world, you will discover new potion recipes, new spells, and new combat techniques. You will also need to make important decisions that will define you as either a terrifying force of evil or a powerful force that helps and defends the Slavic people.
