‘Aztech Forgotten Gods’ revisits the idea of these ancient gods in a modern Mesoamerican setting, an ancient Aztec city, but one that has advanced to futuristic-level technology. The forgotten gods have come to destroy the city, and players must play as Achtli as she attempts to turn the power of the gods against them.

The futuristic technology grants Achtli unique abilities and enables a high degree of verticality and mobility, making movement and movement skills just as big a part of the meta as aim and general game sense.

Despite the futuristic technological advances, the game’s city is still rich with ancient Aztech culture and traditions, allowing players to experience a piece of history and develop a deeper understanding of how ancient Aztech civilization worked and what their beliefs and relationship with the “gods” were.

The developers state that the game will allow players to “Dive into a fascinating Mesoamerican-inspired world and see Aztec lore as you have never seen it before.”
