Nature is incredible in its power and beauty, cruelty and care. The rise of modern civilization, urbanization, and cities has pushed nature further and further back, fencing it in and walling it off behind concrete jungles stretching to the horizon.

‘Among Trees’ brings nature and the digital world together in a game designed to focus on the simplicity of a simple life focussed on experiencing the wonders nature has to offer.

In ‘Among Trees’ players live in the woods, exploring forests, sprawling hills, streams, and caves. Players must chop down trees and gather materials, resources, and basic tools which they can use to build a basic log cabin that can be improved, expanded, and furnished over time. 

The game allows players to fish, grow their own food, watch animals, and even potentially tame some of them enough to keep as pets.

Besides the safer animals, the open world is also full of dangerous animals such as bears, wolves, etc that must be avoided if players wish to live long enough to enjoy nature the way it was meant to be enjoyed.

Besides building and furnishing a comfortable log cabin, players can also build a greenhouse, a garden, and furnishings that can be used to craft new furniture, tools, and items.
