[Top 5] Wizard of Legend Best Starting Builds That Are Powerful

5. Absolute Starter Build

Assuming you’ve just started the game, the other builds on this list will require you to play through the Chaos Trials to collect the gems required to gather the arcana, cloaks and relics necessary. Until then, you’re stuck with the arcana you start with. This isn’t to say that they aren’t reliable, though; this build allows you the breathing room and leeway you need to learn the core mechanics of the game, ensuring that you’ll have learned the ropes by the time you get into the main fun of experimenting with the different relics and arcana you buy at the shops.

Loadout:

  • Cloak: Hope | Patience

Arcana:

  • Basic: Wind Slash
  • Dash: Any
  • Standard: Dragon Arc
  • Ultimate: Exploding Fireball
  • Extra 1: Any

4. Self-Healing Build

Suited to beginners, this lightning build revolves around using critical hits to not only deal increased damage but to also give yourself healing throughout the trials. Lightning arcana have spells most suited to landing critical hits, due to their quick attack speed and burst of multiple attacks. The Vampire’s Eyeglasses and the “Awe” cloak build onto this and guarantee that you have a consistent source of healing throughout the trials. This build is suited for beginners who are still learning the core mechanics of the game, provided you can find the items needed.

There are two ways to significantly lower or reset the cooldown of your signature arcana with this build; by using the Scales of Babylon, and by fully building your signature charge. This build is designed to do the two of those things, as much as possible, while increasing the damage output and charge rate of your signature arcana.
