It is a fact that there is no perfect game out there. Each game has their pros and cons, and Diablo Immortal as well has a few matters that players would wish to have been altered. However, when faced with a difficult situation, it is best to find solutions to this instead.  

Here are a few issues that most players are annoyed with in Diablo Immortal: 

10. The Quest for Legendary Crests

Although crests aren’t classified as gear, they serve as an integral part in modifying and intensifying one's gear. When one runs an Elder Rift using a Legendary Crest, a Legendary Gem is sure to drop. If these gems are equipped, it can give out boosts that could either increase the fighter’s stats or give out damaging or disabling effects could be casted upon the wielder’s opponents.  

As good as it sounds, it comes with a price, and with that, I am referring to real money. Players do have the option to purchase crests off with cash but if you’re playing for free, hang in there as there is still hope! Free-to-play gamers can still obtain these precious crests as they are given out through promotions, usually after every patch update, after completing a series of quests. Diablo Immortal does reward their punctual and persistent players with great gifts.

9. The Insane Daily Grind

Casual players would find Diablo Immortal to be more laborious than it was thought to be. This MMO pushes players to log in on a daily basis if they don’t want to miss out on things in the game. The daily two paragon server level increase also adds up to the pressure and makes you want to catch up. However, there are tricks to enable your character to stay up to par with minimal effort.

First, make sure you complete the Iben Fahd Sanctum daily in order to utilise keys and open chests that gives out fragments that can be used to purchase stat increments. Next, you need to do three elder rifts to secure the keys required to unlock chests for tomorrow’s run. Then you can go and clear off the eight bounties. Lastly, you can finish off a contract that would give out experience points and gold. A bonus tip, and a must if you are a shadow is to head over the assembly to receive your daily blessing as it gives out massive rewards. This can be obtained by allocating 5 minutes from your day. 

8. Decreased Daily Rewards

For players who love grinding, Diablo Immortal somehow discourages this as the percentage of the experience earned would decrease depending on how the player is sitting on the server paragon level. Apart from that, the chances of obtaining gems and legendary gears decreases after reaching five drops. In order to fix this, one would need to increase their Magic Find. This can be achieved by upgrading the legendary gems. The higher the star and gem level, the higher the magic find would be.

7. Warband Raids

Purging the depths of the Castle of Cyrangar and clearing other warband runs can be intensely joyous if played amongst a band of players. However, it has been a problem for a huge chunk of the population who aren’t with a good group. This is quite important, such as the Helliquary raids, because when cleared by a warband, the more rewards are given out. The players who’ve cleared the bosses have the option to purchase a special weekly Legendary crest as well.

To achieve this, players need to find loyal players who would remain on their warband. It can easily be done by broadcasting it through the world chat. Be sure to pick active members of your warband as you’ll be able to grow as you progress through the game.  

6. High Level Dungeon Runs

Any dungeon can be cleared when run on lower hell levels, but haven’t you always wished to have the ability to clear dungeons solo on the hell difficulty that you are currently at? Diablo Immortal has taken away the party requirement when entering dungeons. This enables players to raid dungeons alone, but not every player is able to achieve this.

A quick fix is to raid dungeons with other players but waiting for others to join is not necessarily a short wait, so another option is to increase their combat rating. By upgrading the remnants in the Helliquary and constantly farming for legendary gear upgrades would enable you to achieve such a feat.  

5. Combat Rating System

This is probably one of the most controversial features of Diablo Immortal. Legendary gears do not usually mean it would be an upgrade if the amount of combat rating it gives is lower that what you currently equip. To elaborate this, if you are a Wizard, having an additional intelligence stat from your gear would normally be great for your progress.

However, with the combat rating system, despite having a certain beneficial stat boost, players would still struggle to progress into the higher hell level difficulties if their combat rating is low. It is advised to focus more on the combat rating, rather than the stats found in gears. 

4. Clashing with Whales in PVP

With the dreadful option for players to purchase an unlimited supply of legendary crests using real cash, opportunistic players rise to the top, and they are branded as whales. If you see someone with extensive flaming wings attached to them, then you have just witnessed an extremely wealthy player come across you.

With the massive stat boost that whales get, players would usually not stand a chance. There is no easy fix to this but to have teamwork and focus on the whale first when encountered in PvP, as crippling effects would render their damage useless. Be sure to make use of your control skills at the right place, and at the right time. Timing is the key! 

3. Ranking on the Leaderboards

Whales do come with a great advantage against regular free-to-play players, although it doesn’t have to be one-on-one though! PvP matches are always composed by a team, and the more times you join a match, the more likely it would be to reach the peak of the leader boards. Whales are not automatically ranked on the top just because they have high grade gems. If they don’t join and win in PvP, they won’t be able to progress in the ranking. 

2. Daily Decreased Legendary Drop Rates

For those who have been playing the game for a while now, you must have noticed that the legendary gears would cease to drop after grinding for a while. It usually comes to a halt after the fifth drop. Even if you do get another couple of legendary drops after that, it would mean grinding for hours and hours. The focus is not to obtain legendary gear at this point, but to gain experience and upgrade materials instead.  

1. Hidden Lair and Map Events Reduced Rewards

Once a player discovers a hidden lair when searching an area and looks for party members, it would usually be filled up quickly. Not only do players obtain monstrous essences clearing these waves of monsters, gems normally drop from chests found in such lairs when clearing the quests that they give out. However, the drop rates would decrease when you have plundered a few hidden lairs or collected regular gems from elsewhere, so be mindful of this if farming gems is what you wish to do for the day.
