[Top 3] Teamfight Tactics Best Lux Builds To Use

Best Lux Builds in TFT
Light can hurt sometimes!

In this article I’ll discuss the top 3 best builds for Lux in TFT, mentioning advantages, How-tos, and tips for each build.

Although Lux isn’t a high-cost champion yet, she is standing out with her Cosmic Spark skill, which has a huge splash of damage, making her one of the best 2-cost champions that can take out champions that cost 5, or even 7 gold.

Builds to be discussed, playing them will guarantee you a win and mastering them will save you the 1st place every time you play them.

Light at her fingertips.

Luxanna Crowngaurd, The lady of luminosity, The Demacian Magician, Whom the light obeyed, As Luxanne stands for Light.

Lux didn’t have the chance to show her magical skills to anyone as her grandfather was killed by magic, which made it a myth in Demacia that those who have magic have evil hearts.

Even though Lux had to keep her magic a secret as it’s forbidden in Demacia to use magic, she couldn’t stop the magic inside her from using it one night when she was attacked by a ravenous sabrewolf pack approaching her.

Lux was overwhelmed with dark thoughts as she started questioning if she would become evil. As time passed, Lux realized that Demacia was a narrow-minded city and that they had to get along with mages like her, as not every magician has an evil heart.

Best comps for Lux

3) Astral Mage Comp

This comp is one of the easiest methods to get 3 star champions since the reroll has a low cost as long as you are the only one playing astral. Having Lux as the main source of damage in the backlines being protected by the 2 bruisers that can handle tons of damage, Sylas and Skarner.

The best team for this build:

1-Lux: being the main source of damage in the back lines, placed on the opposite side of the enemy’s carry to make sure that her Cosmic spark hits.

2-Sylas: placing him alone in the front lines with a gargoyle’s stone plate would make him able to protect the team without easily dying.

3-Skarner: making the duo bruisers with his brother Sylas would give them extra HP and add 1 more to the astral trait.

4-Viladimir: He is the best choice as he has the same traits as Lux: Astral and Mage.

5-Nidalee: being a shape shifter would make her able to handle some pretty good damage as her health increases as well as adding 1 more to the astral trait.

6-Varus: even though he only adds to the astral trait, he can deal some good damage from the backlines as he has the swiftshot trait.

7-Zoe: 5-cost Mage to deal damage and protect the team with her abilities as she switches between them.

8-Taliyah: 1-cost Mage that could be changed for Lillia or Sohm (if you hit level 9) so they can make it a 5 Mage trait.

2) Mage Nomsy

Go for this comp if Nomsy is a mage (depending on the game) and also if you have a fast reroll of low-cost mages and astrals in the early game. Having Nomsy and Lux on the board would deal tons of damage as this comp aims for having 6 mages and would best work when having a mage emblem, making them 7 Mages.

The best team for this comp:

1-Sylas: placing him alone in the front lines with a gargoyle’s stone plate would make him able to protect the team without easily dying.

2-Skarner: making the duo bruisers with his brother Sylas would give them extra HP and add 1 more to the astral trait.

3-Viladimir: He is the best choice as he has the same traits as Lux: Astral and Mage.

4-Nomsy as it will be the main source of damage along with Lux also summoning Heimerdinger which would add another mage to the traits

5- Zoe: 5-cost Mage to dealing damage and protecting the team with her abilities as she switches between them

6--Lux: dealing some decent damage due to its astral ability power and modified ability power as one of seven mages.

7-Bard is always an advantage in the mid-late game as he increases the percentage of having a 3-star Nomsy as well as using his skills which will give the chance to Nomsy to live a little longer while dealing so much more damage.

1) The Astral Dragon

Go for this build by saving gold and trying to hit level 8 as early as you can so you can get to Aurelion Sol, as having Seraphine in front of him adding to on-hit damage and activating the Evoker trait would deal tons of damage in a few seconds. Having a mage emblem on Aurelion Sol would be a huge advantage, casting his ability not once but twice.

The best team for this Comp:

1-Sylas: placing him alone in the front lines with a gargoyle’s stone plate would make him able to protect the team without easily dying.

2-Skarner: Having extra health with his duo Sylas as well as extra ability from the Astral trait would make him a huge tank.

3-Seraphine: would be a huge advantage as it would increase the on-hit damage for the team and activate the Evoker trait for Aurelion Sol.

4-Bard: increasing magic resist as a Mystic along with Seraphine and increasing your shop odds to get more Aurelion Sol, hitting level 2 or even 3 would be a great advantage for the whole team.

5-Zyra having a whisper trait activated along with Sylas would make the enemy vulnerable to taking extra damage.

6-Lux being placed with Mages and Astrals would load her with tons of ability power.

7-Aurelion Sol once hitting him, it’s a game changer. Getting him a mage emblem would make him an unbeatable beast, dealing thousands of damage.

Synergies:

1-Astral:

After each player combat, gain an astral orb. The combined star level of your astral champions increase the quality of the orbs.

Astral champions gain bonus Ability power as follows:

3 Astrals gain 5 ability power

5 Astrals gain 30 ability power

2-Mage:

Mages cast abilities twice and have modified total ability power.
