As you climb through the ranks in Galaxy of Heroes, it is best to not forget a crucial resource and segment of the game: Fleet Arena. Having a strong Fleet Rank will provide you with better enhancement materials, growing your Galactic Power exponentially. Here are the top starter ships today.

7. Ahsoka Tano’s Jedi StarfighterAhsoka Tano's ship is one of the earliest you'll receive, enhance it to 7 stars to grow your Galactic Power.

This versatile attacker is one of the first ships you’ll unlock through free cards or Galactic War. It uses dispels and buffs to adapt to the battle. Paired along with any Light side Capital ship, Ahsoka’s Starfighter is an excellent choice.

  • Ahsoka Tano’s Jedi Starfighter Unique Ship Abilities:
  • Shut Down: Deal Physical damage to target enemy and Dispel all buffs on them. This ability's cooldown is reset and Ahsoka's Starfighter gains 50% Turn Meter whenever an enemy Reinforces.
  • Turnabout: Dispel all debuffs on Ahsoka's Starfighter and gain Protection Up (50%) for 2 turns.
  • Cunning Maneuver: at the start of the battle, dispel all buffs on the target enemy and gain 20% Max Health for each buff dispelled.

 

6. Biggs Darklighter's X-wing

A quick and elusive fighter, this famous X-wing makes daring attacks in both the movies and Galaxy of Heroes.

A fan favorite, this ship’s ease of use can quickly set up attacks on enemy combatants. This heroic Rebel tank exploits Target Lock for Taunts and Assists. Since Biggs is an easily obtainable character, unlock this ship and enhance it to 7 stars with ease.

Biggs Darklighter’s X-wing Unique Ship Abilities:

  • Hit the Mark: Deal Physical damage to target enemy and inflict Target Lock for 2 Turns on a Critical Hit. This attack has a +5% Critical Chance for each Rebel ally.
  • Academy Maneuver: Deal Physical damage to target enemy and inflict Offense Down for 2 turns.
  • Daring Assault: Biggs Darklighter's X-wing recovers 40% Protection and Taunts for 2 turns whenever an enemy becomes Target Locked.

 

5. Clone Sergeant's ARC-170

This tank will help you against the Empire's attacks, ensuring your fighters have a shot at defeating the Capital ship.

Another ship you should expect to unlock, the ARC-170 is a great starter tank that inflicts and exploits Target Lock. This should be one of the first ships awarded to you, making it another 7-star possibility.

ARC-170 Unique Ship Abilities:

  • Wings Cannons: Deal Physical damage to target enemy with a 50% chance to inflict Target Lock for 2 turns, doubled on a Critical Hit.
  • Torpedo Strike: Deal Physical damage to target enemy, which can't be Evaded. If this attack scores a Critical Hit, recover 20% Protection.
  • Overcharge: Clone Sergeant's ARC-170 gains Defense Up for 2 turns and recovers 65% Protection.

 

4. Imperial TIE Fighter

Stormtroopers stand guard as the mass-produced TIE Fighter gets ready for maintenance.

The first Dark side ship, you should pair the TIE fighter with Empire allies. This fighter is a great attacker as a starter ship. Preferably, have this paired with the Executrix at a lead and if possible Darth Vader’s ship.

Imperial TIE Fighter Unique Ship Abilities:

  • L-s1 Laser Cannon: Deal Physical damage to the target enemy with a 70% chance to inflict Target Lock for 2 turns.
  • T-s8 Targeting Computer: Deal Physical damage to the target enemy and gain Foresight for 2 Turns.
  • Twin Ion Engine: when entering battle, remove 50% Turn Meter from the target enemy, which can't be Evaded or Resisted.

 

3. Endurance: Mace Windu

Use blueprints to enhance Mace Windu's Endurance, making it your first Capital ship.

This is the first Capital ship you should enhance. It is a worthy leader and one of the easier Capital ships to unlock when first starting, use the Endurance for its boosted Speed.

Endurance Unique Ship Abilities:

  • Strike True: Deal Physical damage to the target enemy and inflict Target Lock for 2 turns.
  • Fortune Favors the Bold: Deal Physical damage to the target enemy and all Target Locked enemies, then grant all allies Valor for 2 turns. This ability's cooldown is reduced by 1 for each enemy struck. Valor: Grant allied Galactic Republic Capital Ship 15% Turn Meter and reduce its Ultimate ability's cooldown by 1 at end of turn
  • Hold Fast: Target ally recovers 100% Protection and gains Taunt and Critical Hit Immunity for 2 turns.

The Executrix floats idly as it scans the horizon for threats to the Death Star

This aggressive Capital ship crushes its debuffed enemies. Team it with an Empire squad and you should easily move up in rank at the start of Fleet Arena. When possible, a lineup consisting of the TIE fighter, TIE Bomber, Emperor’s Shuttle, and the Executrix is a lethal combination for newcomers and veterans alike.

Executrix Unique Ship Abilities:

  • Turbolaser Batteries: Deal Physical damage to the target enemy and inflict Tenacity Down for 2 turns.
  • Executive Order: All allies gain 30% Turn Meter and Offense Up for 1 turn. Empire allies also gain Potency Up and Defense Penetration Up for 1 Turn. This ability starts on cooldown.

 

1. Home One

It's a trap! Admiral Akbar is at the ready, quick to deploy Rebel allies at a moment's notice.

The best starter ship is the famous Home One, commanded by Admiral Akbar. This Rebel ship can turn the tide in any battle with its bonus attacks. Pair this ship with Ghost when able for maximum effectiveness.

Home One Unique Ship Abilities:

  • Mon Cal Cannons: Deal Physical damage to target enemy and call a random ally to Assist.
  • Seize the Advantage: Dispel all debuffs on a targeted ally. That ally recovers 50% Health and 50% Protection, and all allies gain Advantage for 2 turns.
  • Master Plan: All allies gain 100% Turn Meter and the Master Plan buff for 1 turn, which can't be Prevented or Dispelled. This ability starts on cooldown. Master Plan: After this ship uses an ability during its turn, their cooldowns are reset and they gain 100% Turn Meter.
