The Old Republic marked the height of Jedi in Star Wars lore. Its era had multiple great Jedis including Jedi Knight Revan, Bastila Shan, and Jolee Bindo. The Old Republic also featured extraordinary warriors that battled alongside these Jedi. Below we will list the top Old Republic teams in Galaxy of Heroes.

5. Soldiers of the Old Republic: Carth Onasi, Zaalbar, Mission Vao, T3-M4, Canderous Ordo 

The brave Carth charges into any battle, no matter the odds. Could his luck be turning?

With Carth Onasi leading the charge, expect this team to inflict damage over time. Unlike most leaders, he boosts his team with typically support buffs such as potency and tenacity. Zeta his leadership ability for the most effective results in-game.

Soldiers of the Old Republic Unique Team Abilities:

  • Old Republic allies gain 30% Potency, Tenacity, and Critical Avoidance. Whenever an enemy is inflicted with a Damage Over Time effect, all Old Republic allies recover 3% Health and Protection. When an Old Republic ally uses their Basic ability during their turn, they have an 80% chance to call another Old Republic ally to assist, dealing 50% less damage (limit once per turn).
  • Soldier’s Training: While attacking, Carth gains 10% Offense for each active enemy and Old Republic ally. Whenever Carth defeats an enemy, he gains 10% Critical Chance and Critical Damage (stacking), and the cooldown of Just Keep Shooting is reset.
  • Mission Vao’s Me and Big Z Forever: Mission has a +50% Offense. If Zaalbar is present, he also gains this bonus. Once per turn, Mission Assists when Zaalbar uses an ability. When Zaalbar takes damage from an attack, Mission gains 10% Offense (stacking) for 2 turns. When Mission deals damage to an enemy, Zaalbar recovers 10% Health.

 

4. Initiative: Bastila Shan, Jolee Bindo, Juhani, Zaalbar, T3-M4

Calculating, and driven. Bastila has all the tools to become a powerful Jedi. However, will the Dark Side tempt her?

This team can be farmed in the shortest amount of time with the current shard availability. Look for Bastila to lead her team of Jedi to victory with her Initiative leadership skills. While I favor the Fallen version of Bastila, this version is the better leader.

Initiative Unique Team Abilities:

  • At the start of the battle, Jedi allies gain 15% Turn Meter and Protection Up (200%, can't be dispelled), and Jedi Tank allies Taunt for 1 turn. While Jedi allies have Protection Up, they have +150% Tenacity and deal 35% more damage.
  • Legendary Battle Meditation: At the start of Bastila's turn, she recovers 2% Protection for each buff she has and all other allies gain 3% Turn Meter (doubled for Jedi) and Legendary Battle Meditation for 1 turn.
  • Legendary Battle Meditation: +50% Potency and +35% counter chance (doubled for Jedi). Legendary Battle Meditation can't be dispelled.
  • T3-M4 is an excellent support character, his carbonite projector will dispel all buffs on all enemies and deal Special damage to them. It also Inflicts Critical Chance Down and Offense Down for 2 turns and then remove 20% Turn Meter from all enemies. Target Locked enemies can't resist these debuffs.

 

3. Do or Do Not: Bastila Shan, Jedi Knight Revan, Jolee Bindo, Juhani, Hermit YodaOne of the greatest Jedi's of all time, Hermit Yoda now lives in exile. However, with this exile he has rounded his abilities to include more aspects of the force.

This brings us into our top 3. By introducing Jedi Knight Revan and Hermit Yoda, you can expect this Jedi team to wipe out most opponents. While no Galactic Legend is present, Jedi Knight Revan has the ability to turn the tide of any battle. Aim to give Master’s Training to all Jedi (Hermit Yoda’s ability)

Do or Do Not Unique Team Abilities:

  • Master’s Training: Yoda gains Stealth for 2 turns. Dispel all debuffs on target other ally and grant them the Master's Training unique buff until the end of the battle. Then, call all allies with Master's Training to Assist. Master's Training: +25% (doubled on Jedi) Accuracy, Defense, Offense, Potency, and Tenacity. Can't be Dispelled or Prevented.
  • Strength Flows From the Force: All allies have their current Health percentages equalized. (Health equalizing effects ignore Healing Immunity.) Then, all allies recover 20% Health and Protection and Jedi allies gain Foresight for 2 turns.
  • In Exile: Yoda gains Stealth for 2 turns at the start of each encounter and has +100% Evasion while Stealthed. If there are no other allied combatants at the start of a turn, Yoda escapes from the battle.

 

2. Legend of the Jedi: Jedi Knight Revan, Bastila Shan, Juhani, Jolee Bindo, Jedi Master Luke SkywalkerA wise Jedi, Jedi Knight Revan can use not only his lightsaber for victory: but his wits as well.

The tremendous synergy between Jedi Knight Revan and Bastila Shan is what to focus on. Jedi Master Luke Skywalker acts as your main support with his Heroic Stand ability. This features your first Galactic Legend.

Legend of the Jedi Unique Team Abilities:

  • Master Strategist: Deal Special damage to all enemies. Revan dispels all debuffs on Jedi and Old Republic allies, then Revan heals all Jedi and Old Republic allies by 10% for each Jedi and each Old Republic ally. Revan gains Critical Damage Up and Foresight for 3 turns. Swap Turn Meter with target other Jedi ally.
  • Bastila’s Force Bond: If Jedi Knight Revan is in the leader slot: Bastila and Jedi Knight Revan have +70% Accuracy, Potency, and Tenacity. Jedi Knight Revan also recovers Protection from Legendary Battle Meditation. If Darth Revan is on the enemy squad: Bastila gains Advantage and Retribution for 1 turn at the start of Darth Revan's turns.
  • Jedi Master Luke Skywalker’s Jedi Legacy: Jedi allies may gain Jedi Lessons. The first time each other Light Side ally falls below 100% Health, they recover 25% Health and Protection, doubled for Jedi allies. At the start of the battle, Jedi Master Luke Skywalker gains Jedi Legacy until the end of the battle, which can't be copied, dispelled, or prevented. Jedi Legacy: +100% Mastery and ignores Taunt during their turn; can't gain Jedi Lessons

1. General: Jedi Knight Revan, Bastila Shan, Jedi Master Luke Skywalker, Jedi Master Kenobi, Ki-Adi-MundiI for one am very excited for Kenobi. It will be great to see this famous Jedi back, (along with Vader!)

While an Old Republic-based team, this team excels with Jedi Master Kenobi. In my opinion, this team is not only the best Old Republic team but one of the best teams in Galaxy of Heroes period. While having the synergy between Bastila and Revan, it also features 2 Galactic Legends and an excellent support Jedi in Ki-Adi-Mundi.

General Unique Team Abilities:

  • For each Jedi and each Old Republic ally at the start of battle (excluding summoned allies), Jedi and Old Republic allies gain +5 Speed, +5% Crit Chance, and +5% Offense. At the start of the battle, Jedi allies gain Tenacity Up for 1 turn. While Revan is in the leader slot and not the ally slot, units are immune to bonus Turn Meter effects from Leader abilities until the start of the first turn of battle. Whenever a Jedi ally attacks out of turn, they recover 20% of their Max Protection and deal 35% more damage. When a Jedi ally uses a Basic ability on an enemy with Bonus Protection, reduce the target enemy's Max Health by 10% (stacking, doesn't work against Raid Bosses). At the start of each Jedi ally's turn, they gain Strategic Advantage if no ally has Strategic Advantage. A Jedi ally with Strategic Advantage can't be countered. Strategic Advantage: Dispel all debuffs on target other Jedi ally. They gain Strategic Advantage and assist, using their basic ability. This character uses their Basic ability and loses Strategic Advantage.
  • Hello There: Light Side allies recover 40% Health and Protection and gain Foresight and Tenacity Up for 3 turns. Galactic Republic and Light Side Unaligned Force User allies gain Protection Up (20%) for 2 turns. Target other Galactic Republic ally gains Damage Immunity for 1 turn, which can't be dispelled, and their cooldowns are reset (excludes granted abilities). Jedi Master Kenobi gains 1% Ultimate Charge (max 30%) for each buff on all Light Side allies
  • Ki-Adi-Mundi’s Decisive Thrust: Deal Physical damage to target enemy. This attack deals +100% damage for each Galactic Republic Jedi ally. If Ki-Adi-Mundi is using Ataru Form and this ability defeats an enemy, reset all of his cooldowns. If he's using Makashi Form, dispel all debuffs on Galactic Republic Jedi allies and they gain 25% Turn Meter.
