Resident Evil Village has a wide variety of weapons that do not all fit into one category. Here is a list of the "Specialty" weapons throughout the game, from first encountered to last. Some weapons can be obtained during  regular playthroughs, while others are obtained from the Extra Content store. Rifles and launchers have been an integral part of the Resident Evil universe  since 1996 and, to this day, allow players to replay the game over and over with maximum enjoyment.

4) F2 Rifle

When first playing Resident Evil Village the F2 Rifle may be one of the most commonly used weapons when first playing Resident Evil Village.While not found until inside Castle Dimitrescu, has the most  ammo in the game. The sniper rifle can be outfitted with  three attachments: the High Magnification Scope, a Cheek Rest, and a High Capacity Magazine. This powerful bolt-action rifle, this will be your go-to for long-distance headshots as well as doing a significant amount of damage in boss fights. Within the story,the High Capacity Magazine can be found within the story in a locker inside Luthier’s House. Both the High Magnification Scope and Cheek Rest must  be obtained from The Duke.

3) GM79

The GM79 is a grenade launcher with a break-action that uses explosive rounds and flash bangs. The explosive rounds deal significant damage, whereas the flashbangs  only stun enemies. After each shot, this weapon must be reloaded The GM79 lacks attachments  and upgrades but is still a powerful weapon with infinite ammo, it will help Ethan blow past enemies. This weapon can be found in East Old Town. The Iron Insignia Key is required and can only be obtained after obtaining the Four-Winged Unborn Key.

2) Dragoon  

Dragoon Assault Rifle

The Dragoon is an assault rifle that players first  use while playing as Chris Redfield. While fighting hordes of Lycans, Chris uses this weapon to keep some distance between himself and them. The weapon is available in the Extra Content Store after completing the game and can be purchased from The Duke for Ethan’s use. Despite the lack of attachments, this weapon  is considered an easy-to-handle fully automatic weapon with the shortest barrel possible.While not the most powerful assault rifle in the game, the Dragoon dispatchesenemies quickly. This weapon's short, powerful bursts, this weapon slice through Lycans and make headshots a breeze.

1)WCX

WCX Assault Rifle

The WCX is a fully automatic rifle that can be upgraded. While not in the main game, this weapon can be obtained  from The Duke after purchasing it from the Extra Content Store.. The WCX can be outfitted with  two attachments:, the Foregrip and the Red Sighted Dot.The Foregrip reduces the recoil of this fully automatic beast, and the Red Sighted Dot increases the weapon’s power and fire rate, which is not realistic, but who’s complaining?When upgraded, the WCX becomes the most powerful assault rifle in the game, and the addition of  the foregrip gives the user incredible control. Aim for the head while holding  the trigger.
