10. Gloom-Shroom

This plant is an excellent upgrade inspired by the Fume-Shroom. It costs 150 Sun and is a very effective attacker. This plant will be a massive advantage to your gameplay as it shoots four short bursts in front of it, demolishing zombies in its way. 

Although the Gloom-Shroom is affordable, it needs a Coffee Bean to activate it. This will bring the total cost of operating the Gloom-Shroom to 225 Sun. Despite this plant being somewhat pricey, it will provide guaranteed value for money. Trust me on this one!

 9. The Cattail

This exceptional plant is an upgrade of the Lily Pad. It is an attacking plant that shoots two spikes per attacking action. The Cattail will be a great addition to your zombie-defeating army and will give you guaranteed value for money as it only costs 225 Sun. One of the many advantageous features of the Cattail is that it kills Balloon Zombies who are often a much bigger challenge to the rest of the plant army. You will not go wrong by adding this upgraded warrior to your gameplay. 

8. The Gold-Magnet

This magnificent plant is an upgrade of the Magnet-Shroom and it is a must-have for an experienced gamer. This plant collects silver coins, gold coins, and diamonds that you can use to your advantage. The collections made by this treasure of a plant can be used for further upgrades in your gameplay. Costing only 50 Sun, the Gold-Magnet is crucial if you want to stand a chance against your plant-hungry enemies. 

7. The Gatling Pea

This plant is an upgrade of The Repeater, and that says a lot. The Repeater itself is a very powerful plant that gives you a massive advantage in the epic battle against the zombies. It shoots four peas per round, making it the perfect weapon. It is reasonable that this plant costs 250 Sun, but trust me when I say that The Gatling Pea is an investment, to say the least. 

6. Winter Melon

This powerful plant is an upgrade to the Melon-Pult. This plant is crucial to the heavy combat game as it causes extreme damage to a zombie in its immediate range while hurting other opponents with its moderate splash. This plant is essential when a massive wave of zombies is approaching and is the ultimate weapon of destruction. Because this plant only costs 250 Sun, I can safely say that it is a steal that should be utilized at all times. This one is a winner, for sure!

5. The Cob Cannon

This plant is an upgrade of the Kernel-Pult. As seen with the Winter Melon, all plants that stem from the Pult family are quite powerful. This plant fires corn cobs that can remove ladders and instantly kills an opponent in its way. The only downside to this upgraded plant is that it takes a moderate amount of time to recharge. It takes about 36 seconds before it can be used again and it is considered to be quite expensive, but considering the damage that this plant enforces on your opponents, it is an essential component of your strategy. 

4. The Spikerock

This plant is an upgrade of The Spikeweed and is quite useful during gameplay. It causes twice as much damage to a zombie than the normal Spikeweed. Costing only 125 Sun, this plant will be of great help by sustaining nine Gargantuar blows or tire pops. The Spikerock is a great investment and should be utilized if you have any plans of winning the battle against the zombies. 

3. Twin Sunflower

It is quite obvious that Sun is extremely crucial to your gameplay. Without it, you will not be able to purchase attacking warriors. That is why the Twin Sunflower is essential to your strategy. It is an upgrade of the well-known Sunflower and provides two units of Sun each time it blooms. The Twin Sunflower only costs 150 Sun. Believe me when I say that this champion of a plant is a complete game-changer!

2. Cold Snapdragon

This plant is an upgrade of the Snapdragon. This plant attacks in the same way that the Snapdragon would, but it has an amazing twist to its blows. With each shot it chills its opponent, causing them to slow down. When the speed of a zombie is decreased, it allows the opportunity for the rest of your attacking army to cause more damage to it. The Cold Snapdragon not only causes damage to a zombie but allows for other plants to go ham! The only downside to this powerful warrior is that it is a premium plant. This means that you will have to purchase it in real-time. Despite its price, The Cold Snapdragon is a must-have!

1. The Primal Potato Mine

This plant is an upgrade of the well-known and loved Potato Mine. The damage caused by this plant’s explosion has a much larger radius and it arms much faster than its original counterpart. This plant is a cheaper alternative to the Cherry-Bomb and provides much more damage to its opponents. If you ask me, this plant is a crucial component in your battle. Try it and thank me later!
