5. Hawkeye

Interestingly enough, the man with the bow and arrow (plus sword), is one of the best AI companions you could have in-game if you’re using a great build for Hawkeye. Even without a build, Hawkeye’s skills are impressive for crowd control, and has a Support Heroic that can heal you when you’re low on health.

4. Hulk

Hulk is no doubt one of the best AI companions in-game. When you need someone to have your back, the Hulk is big enough to cover it. Hulk has skills that can aggro enemies towards him, letting you have some breathing room while Hulk deals with the bad guys. It also helps that his Heroics all have AoE damage.

3. Ms. Marvel

Kamala Khan is the Avengers’ youngest member, but that doesn’t stop her from helping them save the world. Ms. Marvel has a great set of skills that helps her be a beast as a DPS character, but also a great healer. If you build your Ms. Marvel correctly, you will have an AI companion that can remain Embiggened for the duration of the fight, while spawning Heroic Orbs.

• Kind of like Hulk, but more agile
• Can spawn Heroic Orbs for everyone if built correctly

2. Iron Man

Iron Man has a lot of weapons that are just itching to be used, and Iron Man as an AI companion takes full advantage of that. Iron Man as an AI will cycle between his repulsors, lasers, and rockets to defeat enemies nearby. His Heroics, especially his Support and Ultimate, are incredibly useful when your AI uses them, as the Support Heroic will stun all nearby enemies and leave them vulnerable to takedowns, while the Ultimate Heroic will have Iron Man appear in his Hulkbuster. Combine Hulk and Hulkbuster Iron Man in one team? It’ll be mayhem.

1. Thor

The God of Thunder has tremendous amount of power, even more if you build him correctly. If you play Thor, you take full advantage of that power. But as an AI, Thor is still powerful enough to assist you while you fight enemies. Thor can summon thunder at random, striking enemies close to him. If you are close to Thor, then you’ll have the cover of thunder backing you up.

• Thor’s thunder attacks enemies near him
• Heroic skills cause major damage
