5. Wooden Sandals

No socks though!

I love them. They improve your combat speed and make you run significantly faster. They are extremely cheap and popular to wear in the UC territories - you can see the peasants, rebels, citizens, and other inhabitants wear them. They’re also great for negating combat speed debuffs from heavier armors!

- 0 debuffs

- x1.05 combat speed buff

- 1.10 athletics buff

4. Dark Leather Shirt

Looks cool with Assassin’s Rags!

It’s light armor and soon as it doesn’t have any dexterity debuffs, it means that this shirt will go well with your katana. It also buffs your stealth skill significantly, so you can enter Ancient Labs without worrying too much about some robotic spiders hacking off your limbs!

What makes this item great:

- 1.10x stealth bonus

- Lightweight armor

- Common in shops

3. Samurai Clothplants

Light and nice.

Awesome pants that provide excellent protection for your legs and tummy. You don’t have to worry about losing dexterity while wearing these pants, they only provide decent coverage and cutting/blunt damage resistance. They look awfully fancy at the same time!

What makes this item great:

- 100% legs coverage, 50% stomach coverage

- 26% blunt and 41% cutting damage resistance

- Unique look(looks weird on bulky characters)

2. Fog Mask

SpooOOoooOOOky!

Fog Masks look badass and they prove to be probably the best light helmets to wear in the game. They offer ridiculously high resistance against harpoons and duststorms, the only thing that hurts my soul is how difficult it is to find a blueprint of this item in shops :(!

What makes this item great:

- 100% resistance to duststorms/gas

- 171pts harpoon damage resistance(Your face is harpoonproof)

- 39% blunt resistance/65% cutting resistance

1. Assassin's Rags

Need dat dexterity!

How would I summarize these rags - if you equip them at the start of your playthrough, you’re going to die. If you level up your toughness skill to a reasonably high amount, you’re gonna kill your opponents with <10 health points in the chest/stomach bar. 

I think this is the best armor for the katana class as it gives you a 1.20x dexterity buff, 1.10x combat speed buff, and many other stats that make you a great sneak overall. Seriously, have at least 30-40 toughness before equipping these paper-thin raggedy rags!

- Massive buff to dexterity

- +8 melee attack bonus

- Has a long list of other useful buffs
