There is no survival element to the game, and you won’t have to collect resources. The way that it’s similar to Amnesia: The Bunker is that you need to solve puzzles and uncover the deeper story by reading notes left around or by visual or audio clues. Also, Maidson is played from the first person perspective, isn’t fast paced and is quite immersive, like Amnesia-The Bunker!

Bendy and The Dark Revival is a first-person horror game and the point of the game is to uncover the mystery behind the animation studio that shut down and slowly went mad. 

The way that it’s similar to Amnesia: The Bunker is that you’ll constantly have a sense of dread over you, and the main monster will always be on the lookout for you. You have to escape him and make sure that he doesn’t catch you in the process!

7. System Shock

But notably, the game has received a remake that came out this year back in May, and oh my god the remake is damn amazing. 

The point of the game is to stop a rogue AI that has gone sentient and launched itself deep into space, where horrible creatures now roam the ship. The way that it’s similar to Amnesia: The Bunker is in its survival horror, resource gathering, and doing the puzzles. The jump scares aren’t scripted, and something horrifying just might be lurking around the corner!

During the game, you’ll also be chased by a beast called “Mr.X” that you can’t kill but can only stun for a short period. If you don’t want to waste ammunition or grenades on the thing, you can just run away from it. It’s just like in Amnesia: The Bunker with the beast in that game. As well, resource management is strict like in Amnesia and you can’t just blow all of your resources on mindless things.

Here’s a different perspective on the survival horror genre altogether. You’ll be playing this game from a top-down perspective. The objective in this game is to survive the night while during the day, you have to explore and find resources. There is no hand-holding in this game, and you have to experiment and figure things out on your own accord. 

You can set traps for the monsters that are after you, and you can barricade yourself in your home. You aren’t told where to go or what to do. You only have one objective. Just like in Amnesia: The Bunker. Darkwood will keep you on the edge of your seat, as you’re not sure what to expect next. You will meet some characters, and you can decide their fate, their lives are in your hands, but be aware of who you trust in this game.

• Figuring things on your own.

4. The Outlast Trials

To do that, you’ll have to find resources that will help you, and you’ll be chased by different monsters depending on the level you’re playing. Which is similar to Amnesia The Bunker in that way as well. As you know, in Amnesia: The Bunker, you have to outmaneuver the beast while trying to run away and survive.

You play as a new protagonist called “Ethan,” and your mission is to save your girlfriend, who went missing 3 years ago. During your time, you will be locked inside the house and won’t be able to leave. 

The resources are scarce, and you need to manage them carefully and not waste them all because you will suffer in the boss fight sections. The way that it’s similar to Amnesia: The Bunker is that both games are in first person and highly immersive. Both games are a great horror experience and will have you shivering and thinking what the hell just happened?

The machines in the game have gone rogue, and they are beginning to think they are humans. Your job is to figure out what the hell happened. 

The jump scares are a bit scripted. The game will give you anxiety, and it’s more of that good amnesia formula. The way that this game is similar to Amnesia: The Bunker is in the whole psychological horror aspect and in the gameplay. While playing Soma, you’ll always be reminded of Amnesia, and the controls are similar.

In this game, the alien has two AIs. Which makes the monster even smarter and more unpredictable. You have to be on the move, and you can’t make a lot of sounds otherwise, you are gone. Different weapons in the game can help you scare off the alien, but don’t use them too often, or the alien will get used to them and won’t be afraid anymore. The game's objective is to ensure you survive and not let the alien kill you.
