Far Cry 6, the new iteration of the Far Cry Universe, brings in the good, the bad, and the expansive open world of the recent Ubisoft Design philosophy.    

But the latest installment does manage to smooth over many of the bumps that have cropped up in previous games, and as a result, becomes the best the series has been in years. 

This time, Ubisoft provides us with the Island of Yara, a fantastic-looking Latino-inspired archipelago in the middle of a resistant revolution, and what better way to assist the rebellion than by annihilating an entire army? And for that, you´ll goanna need some badass weapons.

Here are the Top Ten Best weapons that you can get:

10. “.308 Carbine”

The .308 Carabine with some attachments modifications could be the best friend for more stealthy gamers, or it can be very punishing for inaccurate players, but the superior armor-piercing capabilities and the long-range make it one of the most powerful early-game weapons that you can buy either at Juan’s Arms dealers (at lv4) or Guerrilla Garrison at rank 1 or find in the FND chests.

9. “RPG-7”

This one needs no introduction, It’s the classical RPG, if you want to unleash the hell on the Yara’s islands this is one destructive tool that will help you. It’s a very high damage high reward weapon that is powerful against vehicles and helicopters.

You can get it an early game at Juan’s Arms dealers (at lv 9), Guerrilla Garrison at rank 2, or find it in the FND chests.

8. “La Clavadora”

This crossbow fires a massive harpoon that instantly kills enemies in your line of sight. Mostly. However, its killing power is frequently outweighed by its slow use. It must reload after each shot, so it won't come in handy if you're surrounded by enemies. You can find it After completing the mission “Du or Die”, you can obtain La Clavadora. Check out Juan's shop or his Arms Dealers and buy it with Depleted Uranium.

7.” Crackle & Pop”

Crackle & Pop fires blast rounds that are effective against armor and vehicles. This LMG has an extremely fast fire rate that can fill enemies with bullets in a split second, but it is also heavy and provides very little damage when compared to other guns. If you weigh the pros and cons, the Crackle & Pop is a terrifying weapon to wield. You can find it at the El Rayo Cinema in a crate.

6. “Supercharger”

The Supercharger, arguably the best shotgun in Far Cry 6, will blow off enemies in one shot when fired from close range. However, like all shotguns in video games, its damage decreases with distance, but that doesn't mean it is too weak in close to mid-range. Furthermore, the suppressor attached to this gun adds a stealthy touch. As a result, it provides both firepower and stealth.

The Supercharger is housed in a container at the GDP Oil Platform that can be accessed via crane.

5.” El Tirano”

The ideal gun for snipers. El Tirano deals a lot of damage and moves quickly. This means that this Sniper Rifle can take down the toughest opponents in a single shot from long distances. It is both powerful and enjoyable to use.

The El Tirano can be found on the top of a lighthouse at Escila Fort, the northernmost point of Valle De Oro territory. To get to the top, you must grapple.

4.” Compound Bow”

The Compound Bow can fire blast arrows that blow up anything they attach to. This exploding arrow deals significant area damage to all enemies and vehicles. With good aim, you can easily destroy enemies from a distance.

To obtain this weapon, you must first construct and fully upgrade the Guerrilla Garrison facility at any of the three major Guerrilla camps. You can then buy it with Pesos from there.

3.” MP7”

Although the MP7 has always been a popular and powerful weapon choice in any shooting game. However, Far Cry 6 is one of the most lethal weapons in the game. It has excellent accuracy and handling. When you use this, your shots will rarely miss. Additionally, when combined with various attachments to increase ammo capacity and damage, the MP7 SMG becomes truly overpowered.

The MP7 can be purchased from fully upgraded Guerrilla Garrisons.

2.” Pyrotechno”

This fireworks dispenser is not the most precise. However, pointing and shooting will almost always destroy something. This will deal with a tank or helicopter-like it's nothing by bursting off some firework explosive. What more could you want? All of this with the added sparkle of a mini-fireworks display?

You can get it at rank 4 at Juan’s shop or his arms dealers with 100 Depleted Uranium.

1.” La Varita”

La Varita is by far the most powerful and one of, if not the, best weapons in Far Cry 6. It truly lives up to its Resolver weapon designation. It has a full damage stat and is capable of shooting through walls. Furthermore, no one can hide from you or your monster of a rifle if you use Triador's see-through walls ability.

It can be obtained by completing the Triada Relics treasure hunts as well as the Traido Supremo Backpack.
