Best for team players. 

This armor is helpful to regenerate health when your health is 60% or over. It can regenerate your  teammates that are nearby.

• Durability: 67-79

Excels at:

• Health regeneration 
• Healing teammates
• Preserving stimpaks

How to get:

You must complete the main story of the Wastelanders DLC. Regs has it for purchase at Vault 79. This requires gold bullion.

2. Ultracite Power Armor 

Best for overall defense. 

Ultracite Power Armor is best used against ballistic attacks. It is perfect for going against scorchbeast too. It's a tank and works with most builds.

Status:

• Damage Resist: 453
• Energy Resist: 393
• Rad Resist: 393

Excels at:

• Scorchbeast damage resistance
• Energy resistance
• Damage resistance 

How to get:

Once you complete the Belly of the Beast quest you can find it in Fort Defiance on the Taggerty terminal.

3. Secret Service 

Best for competing with power armor. 

This is the strongest armor that doesn't require a fusion core. It can have a jetpack, need I say more?

Status:

• Damage Resist: 250
• Energy Resist: 220
• Rad Resist: 220

Excels at:

• Damage Resist 
• Close combat
• Preserving AP

How to get:

You must complete the main story of the Wastelanders DLC. Then you can see Regs in vault 79 with gold bullion.

4. Excavator Power Armor 

Best power armor for gathering and looting. 

This is great for gathering supplies and ore. With the legendary attribute "knuckles" it will increase your yield. This Power Armor will give 42% damage reduction along with 90% rad reduction. The carrying capacity is over one hundred which allows you to gather more spoils.

• Energy Resist: 240
• Rad Resist: 366

Excels at:

• Carry weight 
• Mining ore

5. Prototype Hazmat Suit

Best for radiation resistance. 

 

This one is more attainable than a few of the newer add-ins. It has a unique appearance. If you don't want to fuss with power armor this is a considerable way to run in a high radiation area. You can find it Located at the Emmet Mountain Disposal site as a random spawn.

• Energy Resistance: 0
• Rad Resistance: 1,000

Excels at:

• Radiation Resistance 

How to get:

Can obtain from completing the Tracking Unknown quest.
