9. Death Vigil

Some members of the Death Vigil have fantastical powers, like being able to turn into a T-Rex.

The members of her group, the Death Vigil, are all those who have died and have been given a second chance at life in exchange for protecting humanity. Bernie is one of this comic’s highlights for her fun personality, but the action and the plot are definitely noteworthy as well.

8. Witch Creek Road

This series pokes fun at some common horror troupes and is decorated with gore.

A group of highschool seniors were on a camping trip, but they just so happened to take a wrong turn and run into three demons. The students who are safe aren’t safe forever, and circumstances lead to the survivors learning how to use magic so they can fight back against the demons. The many plots in this survival horror comic and its sexy, carnivorous demons make it a thrilling adventure.

7. Killing Demons

The comic's black and white color scheme adds to its dark atmosphere.

Now Dave sees these demons that he’s got to kill everywhere, and though he’s not really sure if they’re real or not, he kills them anyway. However, someone’s not happy about this and that’s Satan. This comic has received compliments for its fun, unique art and storyline that’s left many wanting more.

5. Demon Hunter Kain

Though it has a typical premise, this comic is anything but run-of-the-mill.

Now with that on top of living in the world’s most haunted city, being trained by ruthless mentors, and dealing with all the struggles of being a teen, Kain will have to struggle more than ever if he wants to survive. This comic isn’t for the faint of heart, but it's  gorey depictions certainly enhance the story.

4.  Kill Six Billion Demons

Each page in this series has gorgeous, detailed art that's a delight to consume.

Now, to save her kidnapped boyfriend, Allison must travel through Throne, the city she was transported to, and the 777,777 universes of creation while fighting the many beings who want the Key of Kings for themselves. The unique art style and enchanting plot has readers always excited for new releases.

3. The Tomb of Dracula

Blade is among one of the earlier demon slayers to enter mainstream media.

Hellboy is a half demon from Hell. He was found as a baby by the Allied Forces, and was raised as a normal kid by Professor Trevor Bruttenholm, a scientist present when he was found. As an adult, Hellboy works as a paranormal investigator for the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense as well against dark forces, for example Nazis and witches. Though high on action, this series does delve into deeper topics at times, which makes it a great read for any and all ages.
