‘Raubritter’ is a medieval survival simulator with strong RPG and co-op elements.

Medieval Europe was a cruel place. The fight for who gets what could very easily turn lethal in families with large estates, lands, and titles.

According to the developers, younger brothers were often cast out or killed by the older brothers once they secured their lands and titles. This was to remove them as a threat. In Germany, the outcast brothers turned to crime and formed gangs of ‘Raubritters.’

You begin your journey as one of these unfortunate outcasts, and your road to success and infamy will be long and hard! Cast out and alone in the forest, you need to see to your most basic needs. Build shelter, and find food and water. Once you’ve built your starter camp, your journey can truly begin!

Your first camp will be very basic and will simply meet your most basic need for shelter. As you explore the woods, you will collect resources and materials. Over time, you can expand your camp, build defenses, and make your camp a safe, defendable position.

Having a good camp setup is a good way to start growing your band. Other Raubritters that have been cast out recently will be very grateful to you for food, shelter, and weapons. If you help them, they will be happy to join your band and help you on your missions.

The game features strong RPG elements. You can improve your abilities, craft and upgrade weapons, and also need to make important decisions at every turn. Who will you raid? How many of you will go on the raid? Who guards camp?

Your playstyle is completely up to you. Just remember that every decision has consequences, and try to think strategically when setting up camp, planning attacks, and assigning tasks!
