Mankind Divided to continue after Human Revolution
Mankind Divided is set in the year 2029, which is two years after the events of Human Revolution. Along with the "Incident". This was an occurrence in which cybernetically augmented humans became uncontrollable and brutally violent; thus killing friends and loved ones.
Unbeknownst to the public, the affected augmented had received implanted technology designed to control them by the elusive Illuminati. The Illuminati successfully manage to hide the truth behind rumors and disinformation.
However, the augmented humans are now being outcast and mistreated and are moving into a new age of 'Mechanical Apartheid.' In Mankind Divided, you take control of Adam Jensen and confront the Illuminati to try and stop their chaotic games.
