Astonishing feats of Architecture
2. Lighthouse of Alxeandria by RutgerFJ
This is ridiculously impressive!
This ancient Wonder was the third longest surviving structure among the seven. It lasted as long as 1480 when its stones were taken to build the Citadel of Qaitbay. Don’t be angry though, the Lighthouse was only a remnant of its former glory since it had already been severely damaged by numerous earthquakes.
The lighthouse stood on the island of Pharos just off the coast of the Nile Delta. It guided ships through the rocky harbor for many years before it ceased to be used.
This Minecraft adaptation was built by RutgerFJ and his brother. It is a magnificent interpretation! Wonderful work!
How about a romantic getaway?
