Taryn started her writing career in 2015, when she became an Editing/Writing intern for an online newspaper. She is an expert in fiction writing and went to school to study Comparative Literature.

Taryn absolutely loves anime and has been a big fan of One Piece since it’s conception. Her favorite games to write and learn about are popular games like: Zelda, God of War, Uncharted, and Kingdom Hearts.

She has been playing game since the Sega Genesis and First Nintendo made their debut and she has continued that relationship with games until this day and will continue to pursue the things that she loves.

She loves going to D23 to learn about the new and exciting games and platforms that will be hitting the stores. She even has done a stint as a Tech Expert in the Electronics Department at Best Buy.

Taryn is highly competitive when it comes to gaming and always strives to beat out the competition whether it’s writing about games or playing them. Especially when the competition is all males.
