Kyle has a varied background in the areas of writing and video game journalism. He has an extensive background in creative writing, being published in literary magazine known as the Larcenist for a short story.

He’s expanding by combining several of his passions, namely, a love of stories, of writing, and a love of art.
Part of his expertise is in the writing and game/ level design of video games, this comes from being a gamer most all of his life.

He loves a multitude of genres, though, he tends to play FPS, free world/sandbox, and sports games. Though these are not limited as all of his favorites.
In regards to his favorite games, they tend to be Mass Effect 2 and 3 (minus the last 15 minutes of the latter, Red Dead 1&2, the Last of Us, GTA 4&5, Halo 1-3, and Far Cry 3. Though again this is neither a definitive nor static list.

The thing that Kyle loves most about video game writing is the ability to look deeply at the story, symbolism, and often times, philosophy of it's inherent design and writing.
