An alumni of Indiana University's Department of Journalism, Franceen has always been involved with the video game industry in one capacity or another. She started her writing career as a food writer before shifting her focus to video games, and she has never looked back since. She has since served as a senior staff writer and editor of various websites before taking a break to focus on other commitments.

Franceen's interest in video games spans across multiple genres, though admittedly she's not very good with platformers. She can perform a mean T-spin, however, and she can hatch expertly bred eggs with perfect IVs on Pokemon like nobody's business. And if she's too tired, you might find her driving a train or a lorry instead.
