Adam is a psychology/neuroscience student from Texas who's first exposure to video games was from birth. His dad would sit baby Adam on his lap While he played Half-Life. This long tradition of gaming has been handed down from father to son, and in turn Adam will continue the legacy and expose his kids to video games.
His favorite game of all time is Metroid: Zero Mission, and has played through at least a dozen times. His favorite part of metroidvania games is the requirement to get new items to open more paths for exploration which saves space, is a good pacing mechanism, and keeps the game feeling fresh.
Adam is an accomplished essayist who is breaking into the world of video game journalism. His deep analysis and commitment to research is what defines his unique style, which is driven by a desire to make the reader think.
Adam hopes to get his readers questioning the games they play by breaking down what they do well and what needs improvement.
