Brian is new to the review writing game, but he brings his expertise in other areas to his articles. If he's not chasing around his husky, you can usually find him working on his books in the fields of horror and sci-fi with loud music or one of his shows filling up the background. His background in novels lends him to be able to really dissect a game or movie's story. Growing up playing games like FEAR, Dead Space and Bioshock really introduced him to the world of horror and made him fall in love with the genre. While his preferred games are in the horror genre he also enjoys playing RPGs, mostly getting enjoyment out of character progression based on users' choices.
