Travis is a lifelong gamer who was lucky enough to combine this passion/obsession with his love of writing to become a full-time gaming journalist. Over the course of his career, he has written hundreds of articles spanning countless genres and subjects.
His weapon of choice for gaming is his PC, but you can also find him putting in work on the PS5 as well. There isn't a genre of game out there that he hasn't dove into for hundreds of hours at a time, but his real passion lies within RPGs. Some of his all-time favorite titles include Cyberpunk 2077, Final Fantasy VII/VIII/IX, Diablo 4, Morrowind, Skyrim, Fallout 4, Starfield, No Mans Sky, Resident Evil 1-4, and Baldurs Gate 3.
Even though Travis is an expert writer on many topics, gaming is by far his favorite subject. That is because he was born in the early 90s, so he has seen the evolution of gaming from its roots to the next-gen consoles and GPUs that we use today. He was hooked on gaming as soon as he got his first NES with Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt for Christmas as a child. Nowadays he spends his free time pondering the best ways to upgrade his gaming rig without breaking the bank.
