Since I was a kid I remember playing my older brothers video games when he wasn't home, playing since before I could even read or even do multiplication. I have so much experience when it comes to video games that they have become these large overall puzzles. As I play I begin to see tiny mechanics and learn to use and abuse them. I have become so good at this that given a game and enough time it will be beaten into submission. For example when I was first given the game Bioshock I played casually and fell in love with the atmosphere. However, having played the game through at least 30 times now I have learned to skip certain parts and abuse reloading glitches to make the task of beating the game that much easier. What used to take me multiple days to beat now takes me one day.
