ISO is one of the core resources in Marvel: Contest of Champions – it is necessary in order to level up your champions, and you need lots of it. Because of this, there are a variety of different methods in-game to snag the ISO you will need to level up your champions! 

5) Farming Venom

Fighting Venom in 4.3.6 in the main story quest is a decent way to farm some extra ISO if you are desperate for just a few more drops into your ISO can. Every fight costs only 6 energy, and guarantees you a 1,300 chunk of basic ISO.

• Go to the main story
• Find 4.3.6
• Take the short path, and fight Venom
• Bring a champion that can easily and quickly kill him, such as Doctor Voodoo
• Rinse and repeat

4) Level Up Event

The Level Up event is one of those things that new players can easily overlook, but it is an excellent source of various resources, including ISO.

• Instead of simply going and leveling up champions the moment you can, wait for the right time
• When the Level Up event arrives, spend your ISO on the champions you want to level up (and your catalysts on the ones you want to rank up)
• By waiting, you will max out the event, and receive multiple rewards, including a return on some of the ISO you spent

3) Objective and Daily Crystals

 Objective and daily crystals should not be missed! As you play the game, you will collect one daily crystal per game, and have the opportunity to collect one objective crystal per day (and three additional crystals per week). 

As you grow in-game and hit significant checkpoints such as Uncollected and Cavalier, your objective and daily crystals will also scale to your level. The rewards for these crystals are fantastic, and can include buckets full of ISO!

• Complete all daily and weekly objectives
• Open crystals in bulk when you are planning to level up a champion

2) Monthly Quest Content

Every monthly quest has tons of resources, including crystal shards and ISO! Farming the event quest and the side quest content is always sure to give you a boost, and every month YouTubers like the one above go through all of the content in the event, showcase the rewards, and post guides that you can use to achieve the maximum rewards possible.

• Beat each Monthly Quest that you can
• Complete the side quest content as it arrives
• Spend wisely in any event stores available

1) Opening Crystals

And, of course, the most consistent and effective way to get ISO – opening crystals. This is a core mechanic in the game, and is one of the primary methods of obtaining ISO in large batches. When you open a crystal, you will either get a new champ, or a duplicate of one you already have. When you receive a duplicate, you also receive a bit of ISO for 2* and 3* champions, and a TON of ISO for 4*+ champions. If you are looking for a particular class of ISO, I highly recommend you use the Dual Class crystals when opening 5* - these will allow you a 50% chance to open a champion of the class you want, and, if you have been playing for a while and have a deep roster, a good chance of receiving a duplicate.

• Farm monthly content for shards
• Complete alliance and solo events
• Save crystals for when you need ISO
• Open crystals, and spend the ISO before it expires
